I have been to many shwarma restaurants in the Tri cities. It's so nice that the best one is very close to my home. I've tried most options on the menu. Today I ordered a wrap and it was absolutely delicious. Bye for the best shorema around. Kid-friendliness: The staff are always nice and friendly here. Parking: This is located in a plaza, so it has lots of parking.
Used to be my go-to shawarma place. I went in the middle of January and it looked like they re-worked the menu. When I ordered a large shawarma poutine is was only 2/3 full. Felt like I ordered a bag of chips. When I asked the lady behind the counter why it didn’t look full she asked if I wanted more sauce.
Ordered the beef shawarma combo and saw them pulling out a large plastic container from the fridge full of beef shwarma. I asked them if they were actually going to serve frozen shwarma or not they confidently said yes! That’s what they serve and if they cant even serve that fresh then what’s the point. Even sketchy shwarma carts on the streets manage to sell fresh shwarma!!in Pretty horrible shwarma joint. Decided to go there after seeing good reviews but total let down. I would highly recommend to go somewhere else or buy frozen shearma from grocery store and heat it in the microwave, it’ll probably taste better.
My all time favourite shawarma place. I live in Kitchener but work in Cambridge which is why if I need a lunch I always go here. I’ve tried many other places in Kitchener and it just doesn’t compare. I can’t seem to find one that equally as good as CT. I would always be at this place if I lived in Cambridge lol. They have a lot of things on their menu but I always just go with the chicken shawarma platter. Staff is friendly and place is always clean!
I love shawarma plate and poutine too. This is best shawarma in Cambridge for sure! Last CT shawarma was one year ago. Still taste was same today. Most love point is rice. Some place is really dry rice. I don't like that. But, this place is perfect! But, I think amount is little smaller than before. I ordered shawarma plate. It was $15.81 incrude tax.

I never write reviews but wow as I’m eating their $9 small shawarma poutine which has fat chunks on their chicken which they clearly don’t clean properly and undercooked fries is unacceptable…used to be my go to spot with the old owners but the new ones don’t seem to care. Really bad for buisness this is the last time I’ll spend a dime there wish I could rate this -10. Save your money and go somewhere else where they actually take pride and care about customers
Ordered the chicken shawarma plate. Good taste, good sauces, salad was nice and the salad dressing was really good. A couple hiccups that almost made me give them a 2 review, but the taste saved a . 1. I asked for more onions on my salad and I received a bit of a hassle for it, was told it already had onions. 2. I asked for pickles and pickled turnip and buddy stated that it’s extra. Every shawarma spot I’ve been to includes pickled veggies on all their plates. And if it is extra, why not ask during the order if the customer would like some for an extra cost ? He ended up not charging as I reached for my change. Not sure if that was covid related lol. 3. They forgot to put dressing on my salad and I had to stand around like a confused stork repeating myself “hello? Hello?” Before finally someone came to address the issue. 4. Had to get back up again to ask for napkins because they forgot to give me napkins... 5. Went to my car to write this review and he came to my car window to apologize check this ...that most customers already know about the pickle situation and that I must be a first time customer and that he was sorry I was a first time customer? aww man.
Huge portions, fast service. The shawerma itself is good and the rice is generic. But they don't cheap out on the sauces which makes everything taste better. The salad in the shawerma plate was fresh however the poutine lacked cheese curds. Overall the ladies working behind the counter were nice and didn't make us wait long for our orders.
Been going there for 6 months. Best shawarma in Cambridge. Excellent prices and great portions. If you’re wondering if you should try it the answer is YES!
