Wow. Definitely a five-star meal experience! Had chef's menu. Steak was one of the best I've had. The desserts are huge, easily shareable by two or three people. I prefer the carrot cake which was more moist than the bread pudding. Vegetarian options: Yes there were vegetarian options Dietary restrictions: Usually accommodated Parking: A large parking lot and free street parking as well
Fantastic food, magical atmosphere, attentive compassionate service and a dog menu! Amazing place for a day out on the lake! Wine menu is deliberate and well thought out and cocktails are simple and elegantly constructed.Food: 5/5
Loved this restaurant so much. Had been wanting to try it and so glad we did! Sat outside and there was live music and the food was amazing will definitely be backFood: 5/5
The strip loin steak and cauliflower/cheddar soup were amazing! A special effort by the staff on our dessert made our anniversary even more special!Food: 5/5
Beautifully decorated restaurant with nice atmosphere! The staff was welcoming and service was excellent. All the food was delicious! We had the crispy sesame shrimp, lamb shank and short ribs. Mouth watering, fall off the bone goodness. We were pretty full after that but made sure to try the carrot cake, which was yummy. This was our first time here and we will be back for sure.
Great ambiance. Delicious food. Good service. Strongly recommended. Mussels were fresh. Short ribs were amazing 5/5! Lamb chops were average 3/5. Pecan cheesecake was spectacular - sweet and salty 5/5. Espresso martini 5/5
We went here for our 2nd wedding anniversary dinner as we were staying in Muskoka Lakes, and our Airbnb host highly recommended this place. I’m glad we choose this! It’s a hidden gem. Beautifully decorated and the food was amazing. The taste hit the spot! Ambience was perfect, and so was the hospitality. Portion sizes were good, and pricing was appropriate for the value offered. Between two people our tab including 18% gratuity was $120 without dessert. We ordered the Beet & goat cheese salad, House made Foccacia bread, Hand cut papardelle substituted beef for vegetables, and Oven roasted chicken supreme. Our server provided us a cookie which said “Happy Anniversary” which we thought was a sweet gesture, considering we were stuffed and didn’t have room for dessert.
My husband & I were dining for my 65th birthday. Ananda was our server and did amazing job at making our dining experience 100%!Food: 5/5
The Crossroads is one of the best restaurants that I’ve been to in Muskoka region. The beef and the lamb are always on point, perfectly seasoned and cooked; the mussels in tomato sauce and wine reduction are also one of my favourite dishes here, as well as the liver parfait. Cocktails are refreshing and very well mixed and all the desserts are fantastic as well, my personal favourite is the flourless chocolate cake, decadent and beautiful to the eyes and palate. Other details we really enjoy every time we visit are the ambience of the restaurant, casual and simple, yet refined; the great service, because all the people working at this establishment are really sweet and kind, they deliver great advice when it comes to recommending activities or places to visit in the surroundings, and last time we had dinner here on a Friday night there was an artist playing guitar and singing beautifully. We’ll be back for sure every time we visit Muskoka!
Caesar salad was perfect, the garlic dressing was light taste just the way I enjoy. Which for me it is a rare find. I truly hope that I can eat this pasta again. It was one of the best I've ever had. It came with chicken and prosciutto, super creamy and saucy. Something out of this world. I believe it was the daily past option on the menu. We also had their fries which was also very tasty. For desert and I should add I'm not a sweet tooth, usually I have just coffee for desert - was delicious! Sadly I don't remember the name of it, but at least I have a photo, because I hope to have it again. Great presentation as well. The ambience was delightful, fresh flowers everywhere, I loved it.
