The food was amazing! They had a nice selection of beers as well, I like the flight option so I can easily try more of them. The crab dip was phenomenal. I’m from Wisconsin and these are true Ellsworth cheese curds also. The seasonal salad was a strawberry salad with sliced almonds, spinach and feta cheese. It was to die for! Not to mention the stuffed burgers. Definitely gonna come back here next time I visit.
Had a pretty good experience, came in before lunch the service was pretty quick. The atmosphere of the place was good the music they were playing was great. I ordered a Juicy Lucy burger and can't say I was really overly impressed by this one. Pub cheese on a pretzel bun. I mean it was pretty good but was cooked very well done. It really wasn't that big of a burger, especially for $15. The salad that came with it was refreshing and good. Other than that a pretty good experience, especially for a downtown bar.
Head on down to the Crooked Pint for the best Juicy Lucy's in Minneapolis! Beats the 5-8 Club and Matt's bar hands down! l always spend the extra $3 for garlic parmsean fries they're so delicious . Delectable fries juicy savory burgers. 5 out of 5 every time I eat here or or order takeout or doordash.
Sat at the bar had 3 beers throughout the night Grain Belt Premium, Indeed Pistachio and Castle Danger Cream Ale. Ordered a Beer Cheese Juicy Lucy subbed with Garlic Parmesan Fries and a side of Ranch. They charged 75 cents for ranch unfortunately. The Juicy Lucy was super good as well as the fries! The service was a bit slow but the bar was super busy so understandable.
We stopped for dinner on a Monday night. It was very quiet in the restaurant. We were welcomed immediately upon arrival and seated in the upper area in a booth, the bar right by us. The drink menu is huge- fun to try something new. We ordered the club and juicy French dip. Both were made exactly as requested. I’m not a French fry person usually, but their fries were crazy good. I only got part of my meal eaten before we left. I took a to go box. That night, I ate the other part in our hotel room. The fries were still crispy!! I kid you not, how is this even possible?? I had my hubby try one, I couldn’t even believe it. Yes, they were cold- but they were crispy. Unbelievable. I took away one star, only due to our server. He was nice, personable even. But the place had maybe 6 other tables occupied- including the bar. We never brought me the requested ranch for my fries/sandwich. I didn’t get water until AFTER the meal. So most of the meal I ate without a beverage at all.? As I drank my beer early on, finished just after my food arrived. We waited nearly 30 minutes for him to bring us a check. He must have been too busy to really serve us the way we expected. But I don’t want that to take away from the great food. Average price.
Great staff that were professionals. We went here after seeing a play at the Guthrie theater and it’s a close walk. Food is average priced- maybe slight more expensive, but the quality of food tracks with that. Great unique selection of burgers and the menu includes other classic favorites. It also has its own smaller parking lot
Amazing local pubs, bar, restaurant. Megan and Mikela are 2 of the most awesome bartenders I have come across on this planet. Really patient. Handles the crowded bar and had to cover a few tables around the bar this is an change that I noticed after a 3years hiatus in coming to the US. Food is awesome. Choices of beers on tap is enough to satisfy most if not all craft craves. Mikela’s shots are OUT OF THIS WORLD. Keep it up guys.
The juicy lucy was really good. Did not see the melting cheese in it though. The beers were great, so was the service.
Wow! Delicious burgers. I tired the "Stars and Stripes" one and it was amazing. Large beer selection that'll satisfy most. Many TVs and a large projector screen for your favorite sport games. Large booths that can accommodate 8 people comfortably. Also try their cheese curds, very well prepared. The sauce that comes with them was great.
I wanted to hit a brewery before leaving Minneapolis. A friend of mine recommended this place so I decided to check it out. I sat at the bar and ordered one of their Pilsner and it was pretty good. Then ordered some food and that was pretty good. I then saw that they had some cheesecake on the menu and omg that was delicious. I would go back just to have some again. Haha Also the place is aesthetically pleasing for some good photos.
