I thoroughly enjoyed my Roast Beef dinner off the Seniors' menu. The portion was generous, the beef was super tender and I felt like I was eating a home cooked meal. Very reasonably priced too.
Can see why it's a Sarnia favourite! It's been around for decades too. Food is home-cooked, delicious, generous portions. Their hash browns grilledare the best, and the three-egg ham omelette was the best I've had. If you go here for lunch, expect to wait in line for a table. Park farther away and walk there, parking is at a premium, and it's a one way street, going west FYI.
Very good breakfast for a very reasonable price. The staff is super friendly and nice. Highly recommend! Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian breakfast options.
We were there for breakfast, which was very good. Food, service, cleanliness, was well above good or normal. It had been years since I was there and was great at that time. Apparently it is now under new ownership and has been freshly painted and moderately remodeled during the shutdown at the Covid 19 time.
Classic diner atmosphere. Went there for breakfast, and the food is delicious , it was busy, and I still got my order and food in a reasonable time. I definitely will eat there again, and I definitely recommend it to anyone . Parking: Parking close to the restaurant is not going to be easy but it's definitely worth the walk
The food is great here, the prices are very fair for the amount they give you. Trying to order take-out is near impossible though. Every single time I try, I usually have to try and call for over an hour before anyone picks up.
Normally, I'm a fan of this place, but my experience at the restaurant was dismal at best. My girlfriend and I were there for brunch. We were rudely addressed at the door when we walked in and asked for a table. Once we had a clean table, it took about 5 mins before a lady with colored hair I won't be specific threw 2 glasses of water down and a couple of menu's and rushed off. We sat for probably 15 mins as we watched other tables get sat and their orders taken with drinks which we weren't even asked about . When I mentioned our problems, the waitress didn't even acknowledge. We persisted in watching them to dry cutlery, ring people up, and answers phone. This is when we had enough got up and walked out without anyone saying a thing. We went to Sophia's and the restaurant was busier and had less staff. We had drinks and food in less time then our entire experience at this restaurant.
What a great experience! Food was fantastic and plentiful. The gal who waited on us, long dark hair with black framed glasses, was friendly and extremely efficient! The restaurant was packed, but she was 100% on top of everything. Can hardly wait to back!
Decent meal. Friendly service. Clean restaurant. Good food. No free parking unless you can find a spot on the street. Cromwell Grill has been around a long time...definitely can see whyFood: 4/5
