We visited for the first time on Thursday evening after receiving recommendations and we were not disappointed. We were blown away by the standard of the food! The head chef and the rest of the staff were all very friendly and the price was very fair. We'll be back very soon!
Had an amazing meal this afternoon - Sunday roast and shared a great bottle of Shiraz! Very lovely and attentive staff, would recommend this to everyone. Manager/owner seemed very pleasant and knowledgeable :
We had a very nice time in the croft, good atmosphere and variety of food, we had chicken curry, burger and sausage with mashed potatoes. The portions were good. Staff very friendly but might need more people as they were rushing everywhere. We will be back for my husband's birthday

Chose this establishment for Sunday lunch with visiting friends and it proved to be a great choice. The food was of a high quality with the Yorkshire pudding coming with pulled meat inside. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to facilitate all needs. Needless to say, our visitors left with a very positive experience. To top it all, the pricing gave great value for money with lunch for 2 including a bottle of wine at £50. We will certainly be going again.
All I can say is wow! We had the most beautiful meal here tonight. The food was incredible, the pub itself is cosy, clean and stunning and we loved the little added extras in the ladies! Also loved the lounge area with a lovely, warm fire. We booked to come back as we paid, would definitely recommend!
Absolutely amazing food, couldn't fault a single thing. Great choices of wine and drinks as well. The staff were really welcoming and friendly. Just want to say thank you to them for a lovely lunch and will most definitely visit again
We had an absolutely delicious roast dinner with the worst possible customer service! What a massive disappointment. We eat out every Sunday and booked The Croft with some friends for the first time today. We’ve never been made to feel so uncomfortable in our lives, to the point that we decided to leave rather than stay for dessert. We definitely wouldn’t return and would suggest some further training for the staff.
First time at The Croft. Lunch with friends in a semi private dining room. Good food and service. Generous portions. Overall a good experience.
lovely bar but restaurant experience a bit disappointing, starters and desserts are great but main dishes quite bland and expensive for what they are, service poor,, constantly having to ask for things twice and generally staff seem like they would rather be anywhere else, This has been on more than one occasion. However, Sunday roast lovely!
