My wife and I shopped for a few items at the store in North Vancouver, including the baby car seat. We were helped by Andrea and she was extremely helpful. She was very knowledgeable, and offered us several options, always mindful of our needs and budget. Like all the other employees, she was very polite, and made sure that we knew everything we needed to know. We were very comfortable and satisfied. Great job!
I've been very happy with my purchases from here. I even meet the owner on a visit and good extensive knowledge on just swaddling helped us make our purchase. It's true I could have shopped around for baby products but customer service can make it break a baby shopping experience. I was happy I was provided options and knowledge and allowed to choose what works for our family. This has kept us a loyal customer to crocodile baby for our baby needs. Thank you.
I have never had anything but great service from this store! Anything I really need I get from this store. My car seats and uppababy stroller are from here. There is one girl in particular that has the most amazing customer service can't remember her name but she's the one with short hair. They were the only store that were willing to sell me their floor model of the uppababy vista that I wanted/ needed since I only had a one month notice that I was pregnant. They helped me get everything I needed in that time frame.
Store opens at 11am on Sundays. Waited until 11:30am and nobody showed up to open the store. Called the Kits store and they justified the tardiness by explaining that the clerk comes from Burnaby. Shouldn’t an employee plan their commute to meet store hours? Horrible customer service! I arrived before opening and waited for a few minutes in front of the door. I thought maybe they are running a few minutes behind so I’ll go get a juice next door. When I came back I waited until 11:15am and called the Kits store to find out if someone was on their way. They explained that the staff comes from Burnaby and when she misses her bus she comes in late. I was reassured it wouldn’t be long so I waited. An expecting couple joined in waiting for someone to show up. They got tired of waiting and left, so at 11:25am I called again to find our how much longer it would be. The kits store said, let me call her to see where she is. I got a call back saying she was walking up the hill, so I continued to wait for another 10 minutes! After over 45 minutes of waiting outside the store I decided it was enough time. If there had been an accident or cause out of the ordinary I would have been very understanding about it. I think I was extremely patient in waiting and even went out of my way in calling the other stores for information. I would have appreciated transparency and better customer service.
I can agree with the other reviews that rate the customer service as poor, but realistically I've had considerably worse. We had our baby shower registered at Crocodile Baby and were pleasantly surprised to receive a 10% credit on the total spent, but were unpleasantly surprised to find out it didn't include the larger items. We were planning to purchase these at another store for a cheaper price big surprise, but the 10% credit made us buy them from our CB. Overall I would say that the customer service is mediocre and the prices are high. I expected the inflated prices for the fancy baby loot, but expected better service from a higher end retailer.
Customer service here is inconsistent. One day you can be greeted and offered a ton of help. Otherdays, sweeping apparently is more important than greeting the customer and offering any assistance. My most recent visit was highly dissappointing. I was in the store for 20 min until I finally heard someone ask if they could help me find something, nope, help was offered to the customer behind me who was looking for a measly bear. I left highly dissappointed as I was the only customer upon arrival for 20 min with no help. I left and found the baby gifts I needed from Indigolots of friendly helpful staff and a few things for my daughter To my surprise Indigo baby section has products from the company honest before heading over to lussobaby next doorlussobaby has lots of products but poor service and poor labelling system-i dislike sticky residue from price tags when I want a nice new product, also no nursing room. Of the 3 baby stores crocodile baby, lussobaby, active babyin North Van I would recommend going to Active baby for the consistent friendly service they even offer expecting or nursing mom's cold water on hot days and have a nursing room. I still have a few months of maternity leave so lots more time for shopping, but I won't be returning to crocodile baby that's for sure.
There response to mediocre reviews is disgusting. They also email them demanding they take down their review. Want better reviews? Have better customer service. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I never liked them much in the first place, I felt very unwelcome when I entered their store while I was 33 weeks pregnant, but these response to good hearted mother's who leave honest reviews. Disgusting.
I love this store! The staff are always so welcoming and I'm always pleasantly surprised at how much they know about all of the products that they carry. This is definitely my first choice when shopping for gifts!!
Love this store! I have been shopping here since I was four months pregnant and I am always impressed with their excellent customer service and the knowledge that the staff has of each of their products! I can't recommend this store enough!!
Such a great store, the staff are very informative and friendly regarding Strollers, carseats, etc. Great experience here every time I visit.
