im so upset with this. im sky, im 17 years old, ive been in the hospital 5 times, i went into a psychiatric hospital, i live in a abusive home. and ive had CPS involved in my life my entire life. and i called tonight to talk because i was anxious, not only did she ignore my question, told me to wake my parents up, and hung up on me, but told me my parents did care. my parents are very verbally, psychologically, and emotionally abusive. ive had mental breakdowns from this family, theyre very abusive to me. and to hear her tell me to wake them up upset me. my parents didnt even show up to the hospital when i was suicidal they only picked me up to go home. they lied in every family counseling meeting i was in with them. and they made me look like the bad person. i see my psychiatrist monthly. ive been in counseling 9 years and ive been diagnosed with OCD, manic depression, depression, anxiety disorder, and panic disorder. she ignored my question and hung up when i asked her a question. and she told me "of course your parents care thats why theyre there." i get that you guys are trying to comfort the person but i tried to even explain how my parents are abusive and she told me no. im sorry for this rating out of 5. but it did upset me. she didnt even let me tell her about my family. ive called this place before earlier this week and i got a good person to talk to. and im not blaming your crisis clinic place or hotline im just upset over the person i talked to. i wish i knew her name so i could report her but i dont know how to contact you guys.

This facility offers a great option to those who do not need hospitalization, but do need medication and councelling for up to two weeks. Stay is voluntary and you are monitored around the clock. Unfortunately, you must go through Harbourview to get placed here.
