This cafe has beautiful ambience and you can enjoy your breakfast in a monumental architecture building. Weekends are crowded and they too have personal pods to allow people to work while seeping their coffees. It’s a pretty cafe with good brunch and breakfast options.
Beautiful cafe in a beautiful historic building. The coffee was great. The food was above average. The prices were reasonable for the space. If you like to sit on a sofa seep coffee and converse with others in a piece of history this is it.
The ambiance of the place is really nice. The cafe itself is okay. I would say coming here is just for the vibe of the place. There wasn’t anything in the menu that stood out for me that was like Yes I need to come again. The hot chocolate was a bit too milky for my taste and the chocolate chip was crunchy.nnOverall, if you’re new to Montreal I’d say this is a good introductory but not something to come back to.
I wish every city had a cafe in an art deco bank . Massive ceiling and open space for your eyes to wonder. Had to grab a bagel sandwich with a latte with oat milk and Caramel syrup. Great place for coworking or as a third place.
Historic building I think that is why many people visit the coffee shop. We stopped by to grab a quick brunch and coffee. There are limited seats mostly sofa, and you will have to share with others which I did not find ok. Plus, it was hard to find a seat and most people stay for long with their laptop. It was a bit loud so it was hard to talk to each other in my opinion.nThe service was nice and fast. However, we didnt find the bakery worth it.
