Stepping into Crew Collective & Café feels like entering a piece of history. Set inside the former headquarters of the Royal Bank of Canada, the grand architecture, soaring ceilings, and ornate details create a stunning atmosphere that makes your coffee break feel almost ceremonial.nThe highlight of my visit was hands-down the three-cheese grilled cheese sandwich — perfectly toasted, rich, and incredibly satisfying. It came with a spicy grilled pepper dip that elevated every bite with just the right kick. Pair that with their smooth, well-crafted coffee, and it’s a combination that’s hard to beat.nBetween the historic banking hall setting, excellent food, and quality coffee, this spot is more than a café — it’s an experience. A must-visit if you appreciate beautiful spaces and comfort food done right.
Had a Cappuccino and a quick bite from Crew Collective & Cafe, just few steps away from Notre Dame Basilica. Amazing vibe at this historic former RBC bank. I loved the ceiling of the main level, the architectural design of the elevator and walls.nThe service was quick. We were waiting in a queue and one of the staff gave the menu to decide before we reach the counter to order. Lots of space to sit, enjoyed the coffee and admired the history of the building.
Crew Collective & CafénnSuch a cool coffee shop — hands down one of my favorite stops in Montreal. It’s built inside an old Royal Bank building, and the atmosphere is just unreal. Gorgeous space, tons of seating, and even private rooms if you want to study or work quietly.nnThe coffee was great, the vibe was amazing, and there’s plenty of room to settle in without feeling rushed. I honestly couldn’t get enough of this place — I wanted to stay all day.nnIf you’re in Montreal, this is a must-visit. Beautiful setting, awesome energy, and a perfect spot to relax, work, or just soak it all in.
We found this place in Old Montréal and what a find. It looks like the foyer to an old train station you would see in movies. High arches with beautifully designed ceilings and details with high, arched windows for lots of daylight. The seating in the front is mostly cafe style, bench and padded chairs, but if you look for the doorway to the seating area behind the counter, you'll find a quieter area full of sofas and big, comfy chairs. I ordered a chai latte and the three cheese grilled cheese sandwich with a puckle relish. The bread was light and crunchy and the relish was a nice touch. A very relaxing, and pleasant place for a rest and bite. 10 out of 10.
We stopped here each day for breakfast and lunch while visiting Montreal and quickly made it our go-to spot. The breathtaking old-school bank architecture alone makes it worth the visit, but the coffee and food truly sealed the deal. Everything we tried hit the mark — the sandwiches were generously loaded and packed with flavor, and the coffee was consistently made to perfection.nnIt did seem a bit understaffed at times, and the team appeared understandably busy, but they still managed to turn out great food and drinks. Overall, this place more than satisfied our caffeine cravings and taste buds. A must-visit while in Montreal!
