My wife and I decided to do our bucket list to Newfoundland this year (July 2017) and we stayed at many campgrounds in our RV including some Gravel pits. Our choice of travelling to Roberts Arm was to take a few days to relax and catch up on some down time from travelling. My wife chose Crescent Lake RV park. We arrived and found no one on sight to book us in, but a large sign indicated for us to pick a spot and someone would come around later to book us in. The sights were all quite large, clean and with beautiful scenery, like right in front of the lake, just beautiful. We have camped all over North America and this campground has to be rated as one of the best. The owners Doug and Rozz showed up early that evening with a free first large bucket of wood and spent a lot of time making us feel like a family member. Their hospitality, friendliness and knowledge of the area made both my wife and I feel like we were part of their family. Highly recommended

My wife and I stayed for two days July 2017. Our site was very easy to settle into with a 34 ft 5th wheel. The site had a nice exposure to the water with a fire pot, (wood sipplied) water, electricit and a large picnic table. Doug the owner came to our sight and made us very welcome. It is a place where you can relax and your site is not on top of your neighbours site. Beautiful area to spend a few days. I highly recommend this RV Campground.

Crescent Lake RV Park and Campground is a great place to stay. Doug and his wife, the owners, are such great people! My girlfriend and i recently stayed at their Campground and it was beautiful. The campsite is easy to find, yet tucked away along a lake, with hiking trails by the lake close by. There is a great common area for kids, with a big fire pit and picnic tables to have lunch, or cook out for multiple groups. The site had water, electric, a picnic table, and a fire pit. It was very spacious and right on the lake. We highly recommend staying here.

This is a gorgeous park. Doug, the owner is so accommodating. The park is just 22 km off the Trans Canada which makes it easy to access. The Hazelnut Trail borders the park and if you are a Geocache enthusiast you might want to check out the great caches on the trail. The play area is quite different from what you find in most parks. Very creative and fun for any age. Love the swings. There is a great picnic area and campfire pit for large crowds. The sites are wide and the cleanest we have encountered on the island. There are some great spots along the lake and trail to cast a rod and we saw some lovely trout caught by another camper. The dumping station is set up properly to avoid spills. No need to take out your hose.😀 We had great sunny and hot weather which added to our pleasant stay. The area is fun to explore with very hospitable people. Take a jaunt over to Long Island and visit the Tea Room for a bowl of pea soup and doughboys. Delicious and super nice people. A must come back to place.
