We were referred to Creative Doors and I must admit we are thoroughly disappointed with the experience. We ordered a custom door in August 2021 and was told also stated on the invoice, that estimated installation date would be December 2021. January 2022 after not receiving any updates I called Creative Doors and was told that there was a slight delay for product but that the door would arrive end of January and that they would contact me as soon as it was loaded onto the truck for shipment. In February I call again for an update and am told end of March, as it's been invoiced which meant it was on a truck. I call again beginning of May, this time I receive an email response saying they can't tell me ETA but that their shipping coordinator Sarah would reach out when it's in a truck to schedule the installation. Beginning of June the contractor who referred Creative Doors to us went to their location. He was told the door was arriving and installation was scheduled for mid June. We then received a call with the installation date. The door is great quality and as ordered. The installation was quick and the installer was clean and pleasant to deal with. We work in trades and completely understand product delays and material shortages, however the customer service and communication is atrocious. Someone should have contacted us; throughout this experience with delay updates especially changing from a 4 month to a 10 month install, when it was actually on a truck as the company stated they would numerous times, and after installation before they automatically debited our credit card.
Our house came with a garage door from Creative Door and we've dealt with them only three times in 20 years. I've always found them to be knowledgeable, responsive and honest. They won't replace anything that needs replacing and are helpful if you want to save some money by doing some things yourself. I highly recommend them.
We have used Creative Door to repair, replace and service our 2 garage doors over a 28 year period. First class service, responsible tradesmen, fair prices. We would not go anywhere else and have referred Creative Door to our neighbors and friends.
I am really happy with the work that was done on my garage door today. Very efficient and the work was well done. The contractor was very professional and really friendly which was great! Thank you so much for the great work and friendly service! I will definitely recommend this company around to others who may need help with their garage door needs.
Quite disappointed with this company. I had no option but to call them since they're the manufacturers of my house garage door. I The service price is 175$ and I was charged 475$ for the change of a couple springs. Not the shaft since it was quite expensive as the technician mentioned. I was billed almost a month after and I never received any breakdown of the costs of the labour or an email confirming the price of it. Not to mention that a week after my house got broken into because the garage door opened without notice without me being at the house.
I am not able to comment on their work as they will not even return my call or service request made via their website. Customer service wise this is horrible. I have submitted 1 service request and left 2 voicemails on the service line. We have a Wayne Dalton system that was installed at some point in the past and every garage door service company says that Creative is the authorized service company for them. I attempted to get the service from Creative but will end up converting the Wayne Dalton to a standard torsion spring that anyone can service. At least your competitors will return my calls.
My garage door cable broke. I called their number and an appointment was made for the next day. Dave P was a fantastic guy. Very friendly. Knowledgeable. Did a great job. I'm very satisfied with his work. Thanks, Dave.
Today Dave serviced the mechanical components of our garage doors and the door opener and replaced all of the weather stripping. We have always relied on Creative and once again the service was excellent - friendly, on-time, knowledgeable and a great job of making the doors work again like new.
Creative Door Services has serviced our garage doors for a considerable number of years. The technician who covers our area is very good and we are completely satisfied with his service.
Excellent service to fix and service 2 garage doors that had been installed by Creative Door a few years ago. Doors are working again! On time, on budget, and friendly service.
