Crazy Nails

I was looking for a new nail salon in the city, I’ve had a couple mediocre experiences so far. Crazy nails was a delightful experience! I called to see if they had an availability the same day, which they did. When I got there the salon was incredibly clean, unlike many salons I’ve been to. I asked for a shellac French manicure with black tips, I didn’t even have to show a reference — Alyssa knew EXACTLY what I wanted and delivered! My nails turned out beautifully, thank you so much. I will be back

I've been going to Crazy Nails for months now! I used to jump from salon to salon until I found Crazy Nails. Kara and Alyssa do most of my services. I've never been disappointed with the results. I always get acrylic nails and a pedicure. Their cleaning procedures are like no other salon I've been to. I feel very confortable getting pedicures at Crazy nails because I've seen how they disinfect after each client! Front desk staff is always very welcoming and friendly. Absolute trash service. I booked appointment for full set extensions, extra design and manicure since I have arthritis this is my usual request when getting my nails done. Decided to try for a fun design. I am new to the area and advised the receptionist when booking so I was a few minutes late. I called twice on my way and apologized. I was about 15 minutes late. Not once did she mention not being able to complete my services.They were pleasant on the phone. As someone with a hidden disability it was very cumbersome and frustrating to arrive and then be told there was no manicure booked and the tech did not have time to do any design. What a joke. Crazy nails...yeah youre crazy for letting them take your money. Tech was slouching and clearly doesn't care about the reputation of this salon. Never waste your time they do not appreciate you.

I came here a few times to get my nails done and each time I've been very happy with my experience. The staff are very attentive, detail orientated, professional and experienced. I like how they make notes on my colour preferences, so I can come back and not worry about picking colours. I usually do a nail design flowers and each time I've come they did a great job. Not impressed. I got a regular pedicure $45 + tax so maybe you get what you pay for instead of the "spa pedicure" that's more expensive - but the buffing/filing was extremely unusually quick, my nails were cut fairly unevenly, and the polish job was messy, with small spots that could have been removed easily when wet but were not. I brought flip flops and showed the girl who did my pedicure, but she never indicated when to put them on. No quick-dry top coat was used and now that I think about it, no base coat either. I did not have time to stay for her to redo the polish job or else I would have. I can do a better job myself. To top it off, the nail tech started texting in the middle of the appointment - I get that some time is needed for the nails to dry between coats etc, but I thought this was extremely unprofessional to be picking up her phone multiple times. Front desk staff were nice and the place is clean, but I wouldn't come back. Maybe the nail techs who do designs are better because some of the photos in these reviews are lovely.Service: Pedicure

My nail technician did a great job and the service was wonderful. However, when it was time to pay, I was told the price for Bio gel full set is 75$ + HST. On their website in clearly states that a full set of bio gel artificial nails is 65$+ HST. I asked the nail technician if she was sure, she said yes, even checked on her computer to confirm. I ended up paying almost 94$ for a full set of bio gel with tips. I am really disappointed, it’s not even about the money at this point it’s about principles.Service: Sculpted nails
