You've gotta eat here! Well known locally, this place is the quintessential country bar in the area. People travel from afar to go. Apparently, the place turns into quite the nightclub after the dinner hour, which we did not stay for, but our dinner and service were top shelf. Fun to also be able to grill your own steak as well!!Food: 4/5
Fabulous place for meals and party at the same time!! The decor is western chic with barrels, barns wood and cast iron all over…… outside in finishing in the open area so it feels like outdoor western village ….. there is also a show stage and a dedicated dance floor for bands and party goers who want to dance a bit!!! As the night we had dinner , there was a band, “ event dinner was served”. Although limited choices, every dish ordered was tasty and flavourful. They really try to bring the outback ambiance into Ottawa suburb area. Warm lighting and girls selling beers out of bathtubs all all …. Great food, excellent band and d’aboulies ambiance!!! Definitely will be back here again!!! Tip: check out their weekly special menu before you order. Some amazing deals on drinks and food everyday!!! Tip2: make advance reservations. Especially on weekend and when there is a game at Canadian tire centre. Tip 3: make a late dinner reservation if you want to eat and party at the same time and place!!! You have a better seat choice and no worry about floating around. Also, they usually charge a cover after 9 pm…… so be prepared. Social!!!!!
Went on a concert night and it was super busy but the front of house staff were efficient in getting people in and out. We just had wings and nachos - wings were Honey Hot and delicious, nachos I probably wouldn't order again. They were pretty dry. But it was a fun place with a crowded lively atmosphere. Would like to try other menu items.
There is Montana's, Jack Astor's, Kelsey's and Boston pizza in the same plaza but we decided on crazy horse as we never been to one before and what a pleasant surprise, food and service is on point and the specials are greatFood: 5/5
Gets a bit wild later on during weekends its supposed to but a great atmosphere and service always. I had steak and feta salad on the recent visit and was delicious. Wings were also good. Not too saucy nor breaded.Recommended dishesWings, Steak on the Griddle Stone
We went on a Sens game night and the place was packed. 1 hour wait at 4:30 pm. The staff was very friendly and kept apologizing for being slow but it was average/quick considering all the people. Skillet nachos and burger were fantastic. Highly recommend and will be back again. Kid-friendliness: Decor is fun to look at and distracts kids well.
Average or slightly better roadhouse fare. The service was particularly frantic the night we were there. But!...The bartender was fantastic during our 2 hour wait for a table. I think the floor manager hires his door staff for looks and not skill. There could be worse things, I guess. He's lucky to have staff at all in this economy, I suppose they might as well be young and pretty. Overall not a terrible experience for me but my date was irritable by the end of the dinner too hungry too long so it wasn't the evening I had hoped for. I'd go back but next time I'd make a reservation and ask for a better table than the one we had.
Maddox and Leah did a fantastic job of getting us our orders quickly and had great suggestions! Went around 6 so it was too early to really rate the atmosphere. When I have gone in the past the live bands were really good and it was more lively. Overall good experienceFood: 4/5
The place was packed because of the game that night. We just had drinks, but the server was A1. She was quick, responsive and friendly. I love the atmosphere and the music. Next time we go to Ottawa, we'll be spending a night there listening to Country. Parking: Excellent Parking
Stopped in for a quick bite before going to a concert at the CTC. Had the Crispy Cowboy burger. If I'm going to pay $22 for a burger and fries it had better be good, and this one certainly was! Nicely done, nicely dressed, and they did not cheat me on the meat good-sized patty. Our server Maddy was also great. First time there; very good experience overall, I'd go back. Vegetarian options: Our server said she's tried their black bean burger and said it is the best veggie burger she's ever had.
