Great mountain hike. We did the yellow trail first then lake trail and at the end the museum walk. Loved that the trails were all different.
I loved Crawford Lake! There are various trails with varying distances. We did the Crawford lake boardwalk route. A boardwalk 1.4 roughly km trail Blue trail keeping close to the lake. Nice walk. We also did the longer Woodland trail Red trail also around 1.5 km. Amazing photo opportunities. Not too hard.
Gorgeous nature with a fresh water lake and incredible history! It's great for every season and all levels for hiking trails. We can't wait to visit again in the winter time. See you soon!
First time going here and it was a warm, overcast day. Bring bug spray! The trails are beginner to intermediate. Lots of cover and shade with the highlight being the 1 km loop around the lake. Lots of cool carvings and lookout points along the way. We enjoyed it and will be back. Also, great signage and communication in regard to Covid.
Reservations by number of passengers per vehicle are 2 hours. There are 7 trails including Bruce trail and snowshoe trail. Snowshoe rental was not available due to #COVID-19. I also received important info by email including ticks carrying Lyme disease & to bring bug repellent. Wear boots as the trails can be rocky.
