This place is absolutely amazing. The proprietor of this establishment is so warm and welcoming. Felt like a meal at grandma's housejust with slightly different cuisine. The food was delicious and arrived quickly. The portions are huge but don't worry they are extremely happy to pack your leftovers up for you and they do it very well. The decor is also very nice and it might be the cleanest restaurant I've ever eaten in. Vegetarian options: Plentiful and delicious.
My wife and I have been here twice and enjoy the food. We are mostly vegan so we like finding other places fairly close. The miso Tofu soup is giant and delicious and their veggie burger appetizer is great as well! Note: If you just get Tofu, order veggies with Tofu or let them know to go lighter on the Tofu as they served a lot of Tofu with one meal. And they had us try one of their deserts that is vegan and if was pretty good. The staff also has been really friendly, thorough and gives suggestions. We will be back!
Dinners done! Sandy is the owner of Cravings. It closed at 9. She went above and beyond for me to try to download door dash to deliver food and stay late to make this work only to find out after I put my order in that they would not deliver till noon tomorrow. Called her back to see if I could do pick up and without hesitation she said of course. After all that she knew I never tried a lot of the food and she thought I needed to try some things so she added sooo much more food to try. She also added at least 2 more sauces for all the side, beautiful plates, napkins, chop sticks a HUGE bag of all the condiments that will probably last a year!! If your ever in the area you have got to meet this amazing woman and sit down for the best service I have ever seen and I’m about to find out just how great this food is it smells AMAZING!!
My husband and I stopped by here to eat dinner. The menu was hard to choose from since everything sounded so good! We choose to get the pork belly steam buns for an appetizer. I had never had a steam bun before, but they were good. For the meal I choose the wide noodle with beef. It was so good, I loved the flavor and portion size was enough for leftovers. My husband had the seafood soup, he really liked his as well. Overall it was a great food experience and we will be back again!
My omnivore husband and I vegan were looking for a spot to eat while we were visiting lovely Geneva for the afternoon. Found Cravings on Happy Cow and so happy we did. We ended up sharing a few items all vegan so we could taste different options. First of all, the owner and her mom were so kind, hospitable and accommodating to our tastes mild vs. spicy. We would return just for the incredible service alone. The food was really fresh, tasty, satisfying and the prices are very reasonable. We particularly loved the scallion pancakes and vegetable Dan Dan noodles. We also thought the steamed dumplings were really good. While we dined in this visit, this would also be a great place to pick up food and walk a block down for a picnic by the river. We will definitely return with our two teenage boys, who we also feel would love the food.
This place is fantastic!! My friend and I are vegetarian and have wanted to try steamed buns and rangoons but haven’t been able to find vegetarian versions anywhere else. Cravings was clean, had cute decor, very nice staff, and great food. We tried the veggie rangoon’s, teriyaki tofu steamed buns, and the vegetable soup. We both ate for $16 each which is incredible, especially in the Geneva area. Highly recommend:
Delicious Asian Food, Fresh Smoothies and Teas. The Noodle soups are Amazingly Tasty with wonderful Flavors, the Fried Wide Noodle dish is the Best in the area. Wonderful and Friendly Customer Service. Recommend this place for family dining, the dishes bring a lot of food.
I cannot stress enough how much I love Cravings. The staff has been above and beyond friendly. The food is stellar. Fresh made, hot, and oh so delicious. Their menu offers a wide variety of options for everyone's palette, even picky eaters will find something! Very small location, but they make up for it in kindness and the quality of food.
We called in a take-out order for pickup, based solely on reviews. The restaurant is clean and small, maybe 20 people can be seated. The food was prepared beautifully and delicious. The DanDan noodles were ordered medium spicy and were just right. The eggrolls were a surprise...packed with meat and not greasy at all. The steamed dumplings were also filled with meat. The pork belly was loved by my husband and he even tried and liked the tofu! Highly recommend and we will be back for sure!
Food was amazing and the service was great. We had the Dan Dan Noodles, Ramen, and Taro buns which were all delicious. They were happy to make menu items vegan. It would be great if items that can be made vegan were labeled so it is clear what the options are without having to ask. Overall we had a great dining experience and can't wait to come back.
