This store should have moved years ago, it is very difficult to get there now with no mall around it and the staff have zero customer service ability.nWe are doing a complete renovation and need multiple rooms of furniture so I booked an in home consultation. I was called a day and half before the day to inform me that it is not a service offered to me because I live in white rock. So I rescheduled a in person for a few day later, sent all my floor plans, previous photos etc. I did not receive even an email in acknowledgment let alone an introduction from the actual designer, who was not the person who called.nI rescheduled the in person appointment to the earliest possible time slot on day later and was called again, not by the designer, changing again, as that designer does not start work until noon and is not available until at least 12:30.nnI have canceled all appointments and will buy elsewhere or if I am desperate I will take my chances with who ever is on the floor that day.nnCrate and barrel is a good place to buy glassware and candles but should not attempt to sell furniture or offer designer services. I mean if the person can even schedule their own appointment or take the time to acknowledge someone who sends their personal home information to them, they should not be considered a designer. I have had great service in Edmonton and in the USA. Sadly this is the only location in the lower mainland.nnRestoration Hardware has been fabulous as has King furnishings, Muse and Merchant and Lazzoni.nnSave your time, if you want quality service and products this not the place to shop.
DONT BUY THIS Oceanside SOFA, or anything from C&B…nBUYER BEWARE!!!! Crate & Barrel does not seem to want to take responsibility for the products they sell. Had this sofa delivered Oct 2023… before summer 2024, it seemed like it was tougher and tougher to get up from the sofa… I measured and found that instead of 17” high, the sofa was now not even 13.5” high!!! That is a LOT! So much that my parents can no longer sit on the sofa when visiting me… I’ve been dealing with customer service since June and it’s an ongoing battle… I have been promised new cushions since first week of September but have heard nothing since… They keep saying they will call back within 24 hours and then… crickets.. I hope I get a functional sofa before Christmas THIS YEAR… but I fear the worst THESE PEOPLE DONT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS… they delay delay delay, and hope you go away…. What a terrible experience!!!

Extremely disorganized and poor customer service.nnAttempted to return an item and told by sales associate that it had to be returned at CB2 downtown. Then drove downtown to be informed that it had to be returned at crate and barrel the original location attempted.nnCrate and barrel then promised to send a return shipping label, but never sent one. Even after a phone call and follow-up to remind them.
I'd give this company a zero if I could.nWriting my review here as there is no opportunity to review their online site.nnBuyer beware that what you purchase from Crate and Barrel is not through a third party. We bought a Haden toaster and kettle online through Crate and Barrel. The toaster does not toast properly or evenly see photos, all pics are of the same piece of toast, and there are many burners in the toaster that do not turn on. Unfortunately we didn't contact them until 30 days after our purchase and they told us we had to contact Haden and deal with them. Why did we purchase through Crate and Barrel if we're left on our own to deal with this? Unfortunately, Haden is no better and after many conversations, as well as videos and pictures sent to them, they have told us that they'll replace the toaster, but we have to pay the shipping cost to return the toaster. My question is, why on earth should we pay for shipping when they made a faulty product? Overall I'm highly disappointed in both companies and will be reporting both to the Better Business Bureau of Canada.nNeedless to say we will not be purchasing from either company ever again.
