The food is great, even the other customers were fun. Even met a new connection who loves and works with cars. We were greeted right away and brought my niece and nephew who had never been there before. We even got an explanation of everything, which was great. The food didn't take long. Nice rich broth and really good ingredients. Love the fun light atmosphere too. Parking: Street parking. Usually okay
This is a hip and creative ramen spot in Kitchener. They have a wide selection on the menu, a little more pricey than others. Service was so-so but the ramen was delicious. Broth was full of flavour, not salty but could've used a bit more.. and the noodles are chewy, the way it should be. They do give big pieces of the protein which is nice. Would come back again.
Went there today for my wife's birthday lunch. We love Ramen so we ordered the Nothern Warmer ramen which was very rich in taste. The broth was amazing. We also tried the Korean Fried chicken which had a good karinate and then the Pork Gyoza is a must try! Gonna be a regular here.
I’ve never been disappointed by Crafty! Love the story behind the small business, love the atmospheric, LOVE the ramen they have drinks on tap as well as authentic cuisine with flexibility. I’m a HUGE fan of their vegan dishes. They are literally amazing. I cannot recommend enough.
This was our first time coming and not our last! Their website is mobile friendly, easy to navigate and easy to read. Parking can be tricky but there is a municipal parking lot, lot #3, close by on Water St where you can park for free after 5pm. Although Crafty Ramen has a King St W address, the entrance is actually off of Water St S. Upon entering, we were met by friendly staff at the cash, where he explained what was on the menu. We ordered and were given a small, numbered, traffic cone and seated ourselves to await our food. Appetizers or snacks : Veggie Gyoza, Wakame salad and Fried Brussel Sprouts. All were very well seasoned and delicious. Entrees: Vegan Mapo Tofu and Spicy Negi were equally well seasoned and tasty but the Mapo Tofu was a bit on the oily side they add spicy, chili oil on top. The restaurant was well decorated and clean; staff were attentive and immediately clean up after you leave.
Delicious ramen. Staff was super friendly explaining the menu if you had any questions. Ramen was made fast to order but tad bit salty for my likings. Restaurant was clean and I loved the vibe and atmosphere of the restaurant.
Crafty is doing it right. There are a ton of Ramen places in Canada. But this is a true fusion worth checking out. Their ingredients are top notch and the quality is amazing. I don't love every dish, but everything I have tried has at least been fresh with great portions, and I always end up finishing the bowls. My favorites are the chicken tan tan, fried chicken and beer from Godspeed. Keep rocking it you guys! Can't wait to see you all over this country! Vegetarian options: Tofu dishes Kid-friendliness: Kid meals available
Fresh ingredients, exceptionally tasty, perfect portion we had lunch and a lovely patio! Some would say $15 is expensive but you spend that on processes fast food gross! We had the Northern Warmer pictured here and the Spicy Negi - Chicken which had just the amount of heat 3 out of 5 Vegetarian options: Check out their menu. Vegan options too! Parking: Lots of on street parking out front
Good looking restaurant, friendly server. The broth is a little low for my liking, the broth also did not taste as flavourful. The meats were not bad, nice cuts. Nice place to try once.
We got ramen, brussel sprouts and fries as take out. The marinated egg was the best I’ve had, the spicy broth was a blanket for my insides and that’s definitely the most flavorful tofu I’ve ever had! The texture of the bsprouts was a nice combination of tender and caramelized chewy goodness. And the sauce that goes with the fries is downright addictive! Woo! That was a win. Thanks, Crafty!
