Just recently, I had the opportunity to dine here. Not only was the service fantastic, but the food was exceptional. I ordered the pecan pancakes, impossible sausage, the beignets, and the iced cinnamon roll latte. So good. I will definitely be back. Vegetarian options: Lots of options for those of us who enjoy plant-based food. The impossible sausage is fantastic.
Cracker Barrel used to be one of those must go to places.Today, not so much. We went here a couple of weeks ago and due to staffing there was a really long wait. So, today we tried again. They weren't very busy. Yay. We got seated. Our waitress, Maddie, came over. She was not friendly and seemed irritated to help. Alright, maybe she's stressed or having a rough morning. Who knows.. I tried to ask a question you would have thought I pulled some teeth. Yikes. The food arrived. Presentation was nice. The taste. Horrid. The hash brown casserole tasted like the day before's heat up in the microwave. Once you got through the hard layer it was so salty you couldn't eat it. I asked for toasted bread and got toasted soggy bread. Not sure how that happened. The blueberry pancakes looked amazing until we pulled a piece of something red out. It looked like plastic or a red fruity pebble. I guess I just expect more from a Cracker Barrel.
It was my first experience at this place, and I was impressed with the atmosphere truly Christmas , meals, and staff. Meals were so delicious, staff were friendly and polite, and it was cozy. It is a great place. Definitely would go there againFood: 5/5
I first want to say I only gave this one star becauseI had to. This was my first and last experience at this establishment!!! When we first got there the server was friendly but there was no silverware - I of course thought nothing of it, we had just got there- Well as it turns out after waiting 20 -30 mins I had to beg someone for a spoon for my father in laws coffe - first picture shown is the rude worker who than Slaped down 3 spoons and ran off- it took 10 mins to get someone to get me a spoon! Well about 5 - 10 mins later our food comes out!! Guess what STILL NO SILVERWEAR!! had to beg someone yet again to get a fork to eat my meal "food was cold and definitely not good" biscuits were hard and nasty!! They claim to be under staffed but staff were on their phones and sitting in the kitchen for a good min!!! IT gets so much better!! When we were about to leave and the same server sat a man down with 5 mins he got his food and silverware and a drink!!! "She most definitely profiled us" NOT ONE PERSON WOULD GET ME SILVERWARE I HAD TO GET UP AND BEG FOR IT!!! I Would recommend not coming here unless you want to go to the gift shop because the gift shop is super cool!! -Pictures listed below are of the man who got served with 5 mins - the lady who slapped the spoons down - the staff of thire phone- and the biscuits being not enabled and so hard- NEVER AGAIN -P.S the prices are high for the amount of food you get and the quality- The name on the receipt was our "forgetful server"
Hubby and I shared the Country Fried Turkey with sides of mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Food was very good, with portions big enough to share. Service was a might slow for a Sunday night, but oh well.Food: 5/5
I didnt have an awesome experience here, today. Not only was my burger ordered medium raw in the middle, unfortunately my fries were also undercooked. My waitress was busy, my guess is they're understaffed, so she didn't return until our ticket was presented so I just didn't eat lunch, as my party had finished. Truly I believe it's poor management and the crew is just scrambling. I won't be dining there again.
What a great restaurant to eat at, you say! BUT, have you noticed the biggest attraction when you aren't hungry is the great shopping!! I popped in the other day and to my surprise, I left with tons of Christmas and a birthday gift purchased. Oh, and of course snacks for evening's TV watching. Go, check out this great restaurant/shopping experience.
Wow! Seriously! All this for around $15.. Was so good! Fried chicken.. You get 4 hand breaded made to order pieces of chicken.. Crispy, flavorful, juicy.. So good! I got the green beans and the homemade mashed potatoes with it .. Yes, I said real homemade mashed potatoes folks! Rarest thing in Idaho! And I paid extra got an additional side of the dumplings So good I cannot wait to get chicken and dumplings this winter to cozy up with.. Service was amazing.. Calling in my order was easy.. Every step was so easy! And without the extra side this would run about the same as grabbing a dinner at fast food! Highly recommend!

You know when you crave a good ole fashioned American meal? Well, this is one place you can go to satisfy the craving. Took my parents for breakfast and it was definitely hitting the spot. The waitress was great and prompt. It was busy so the wait was a bit long but what can you do when it is busy? Overall, great place to eat.Food: 5/5
