This restaurant has a lovely cozy dining room with a comfortable feel. Our group found it very loud and difficult to hear each other with all the back ground noise. We tried the local artisan cheese board... wow, be careful, these cheeses are very strong and bold. Perhaps they appeal to some people, however, they certainly did not excite our table, we couldn’t even eat the majority of them, we thought they may have been bad. I expected much more for the price. Our entrees were small, interesting and confused. It’s seems this restaurant is trying really hard to be a local farm gate to plate type of place. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t working for most of our meals. One of our four meal was mussels and fries and it apparently was enjoyable. The burger had such a strong taste my parter was not able to eat it at all. Perhaps it was topped or infused with one of those local cheeses! I’ll end on a good note, the fresh cut fries were really awesome and the server was pleasant.

The only must-go dining experience in the region. Fine dining that attracts and satisfies the foodie, the environmentalist, and the value seeker. A new, short menu appears every week here, featuring creative dishes often involving locally-sourced meats and produce and often items from the owner’s garden. (I had a salad with special capers she grew and pickled herself, and more recently a pasta dish with delicate pansies grown in back.) Options for vegetarians are limited but satisfying. Thanks to new hires in 2016, the service is at once friendly, attentive, and quite professional. The Karma of this place is good – warm reclaimed wood in the paneling and bar, solid cherry tables hand made locally, an emphasis on eating fresh and local and letting the season lead the choice of menu items. My recent experiences here have been extremely satisfying. Every dish has delivered something worth paying attention to. Prices are comparable to other fine dining in the area but the quality and attention to detail in the food is substantially higher. An impressive dish and a nice glass of wine costs less than the generic pasta and boxed wine at other fine dining establishments in the area. Highly recommended. Get a reservation and ask for a table out front. (On busy nights the back area can get quite noisy.)

Amazing food! I thoroughly enjoyed the Coy Wolf burger with dragon's breath cheese from That Dutchman's Cheese Farm. What a treat!
