First off, the building is fantastic, the inside, very cool place they have here. I thought the food was good, the Brisket was amazing, for sure. The problem was I got the Brisket sandwich and my bun was rock hard… was not good so I threw the bun out and just ate the Brisket. So don’t get the sandwich, just the side of brisket. The service was good once we actually got our food, was a little slow but there were literally like 2 people running around… Company needs to hire more to help. Good spot, not sure I’ll be coming back, once was good enough for me. Nonetheless, good food.
Pizzas were pretty good & the staff was friendly. But it was slow & drink refills were slow to come as well. Overall a decent experience & watch out for the major pothole at the entry to the parking lot!
We traveled from western Wisconsin to do some shopping and stop at Famous Dave’s for New Years Eve dinner. The food as always was AMAZING. The problem that I had was with the server #4495. I was up to my elbows in ribs and asked for an additional paper napkin. She never returned. I had to go to the restroom and get brown paper towels from the dispenser to wipe the barbecue sauce off my chin. When the server finally showed up, she set the check directly on top of the brown paper towel and walked away. Not knowing we were supposed to pay her because she didn’t speak when she dropped off the check, we proceeded to the front counter. The young woman working there was very nice and gave me two wet wipes. Cute She took my check and card to the server to process. Rest assured, I’m not an jerk and left a 15% tip. My bill came to $59.68 and I left $10. I would like you to remind your staff that they work in a barbecue joint. If customers are eating ribs with their fingers they’re going to require a few very inexpensive paper napkins.
Never been to this location so we came to try it out and use our gift cards. Lots of parking at this location. Food is good but not worth $95 for 3 people. Terrible customer service. Cashier asked to take our order which seemed odd to order, pay and then be seated, but so many changes since COVID so didn't think anything of it. Apparently the cashier just assumed it was a take out order. However, the hostess was kind and sat us. One thing that was really impressive was our food came out moments after being seated but had no plates, silverware or beverages. Once we got plates and beverages, we ate our meal and not one person spoke to us. Nobody checked in about our food, nobody asked if we needed anything, nobody asked if we needed refills, NOTHING. We finished and sat there as staff walked by us. I flagged down the young man that brought our food and asked him for boxes to go. I thanked him and tipped him. We walked out and not one person said a thing. It was very apparent we were being ignored for a mix up that wasn't our fault. Very disappointed.
I only gave it two stars. They are not consistent with the food. I'm disabled and don't drive. I order from them 3-4 times a month. I always spend $50-60. Yesterday my food was burned so bad I couldn't eat it. Sometimes it's cooked perfectly and I loved it. This has happened several times before.I spent $90.00. I only ate the Cheesecake. It was delicious. I kept giving them chances but not anymore
I wouldn't feed this to my dog. You could tell everything had been prepared hours before we were served. I'm not from around here. This is the worst bbq I've ever eaten. I would describe it as stale. The sauce is OK. It has to be to mask everything else. Not a fan. Maybe it's just this location. I ordered sloppy joe sliders for the kids. Served cold on hard buns, hardly any meat on them. I had to cook them something, because they wouldn't eat it. 75 dollars for trash.
Haven't been to Famous Daves since they changed locations. My daughter and I ate here two weeks ago and were very disappointed. The food was extremely cold, and our meats really fatty. Barely ate anything. The only good thing was the cornbread muffins. The staff were not exactly rude, but they were not attentive at all and never got a refill, nor would I describe them as friendly.
Im just gone let it be known right out if you Black get ready to experience racism especially if you sitting in the bar area the server in that area is going to tend to the white patrons and barely acknowledge you. I forgot to get her name but she was working in the evening and she deliberately ignored me and took care of the white customers then when she got to me didn’t care about how she served me no customer service then tried to hold my card and I’m like you can cash me out. She didn’t even inquire about how to handle my transaction. I will be posting again cause I will be back there to get her name and put her on blast because she deserve it. The comfort she provided the white patrons was not given to me she made it very clear that I didn’t belong and was making sure I didn’t stick around long.
Food was great. Would recommend. Might have been short staffed?. We had to seat ourselves. Wait staff was puzzled when I asked for a Lager, had to go check. Was not offered a list of available beers, when the only Lager was bottled. Staff was polite and cheerful. They seemed confused and disoriented.
Came for that Famous Dave's food. It was deliciously on point to my past expectations. I ordered ribs... My mom unfortunately wasn't impressed with the brisket she got. She said it was tough. This was my first time at this one which is integrated with a Cowboy Jack's... I personally would probably prefer not to return to this one again because the bar crowd was rather loud and rowdy. I wouldn't say the noise was any worse, however, than one would expect of a bar atmosphere, so I haven't docked any points for that; I'm just not personally fond of social gatherings that emphasize talking taking place in loud spaces.
