Awesome experience! Our waitress was so nice and she was friendly and took good care of us. Food was excellent! After eating we went and checked out the Bison and Elk. Them Bison are huge. We loved it!
My son had the CP sampler as his dinner, well because he's a 13 year old boy. I ordered the amazing seafood casserole. Oh my goodness! This was a great dish and had so much flavor. From the Newburg sauce on top to the sweet stuffing on the bottom, I will most definitely get this again. Service was great and they came and offered refills which lately it seems like some places are too busy to do. Overall great food and great service. We also went over to the elk afterwards and gave them a good pet. PS, they like apples.
Pretty good place we had been meaning to try, the food was good and prices very fair, service was very attentive, we will be going back again.
Had high hopes. Staff very nice. Attentive, neat. Well versed on specials and pleasant. However... Women's bathroom was dark. Light fixture was loaded with not sure what. Salt shaker on table was covered in spaghetti sauce maybe? Window dessert menu had remnants of past patrons food. Entry door was marked heavily with finger prints. Food was mediocre at best. Sweet potato fries tasted sour. Sent them back. Not taken off bill.
Great little place, lots on the menu, my only complaint would be a lack of vegetable options. But everything I ate was good. It's good ol fashioned comfort food.Food: 4/5
Stopped by for lunch on my way back to Quebec after a morning in Vermont. I had the chicken parmesan sandwich and added the salad bar, my lunchmate had the 'all you can eat shrimp' Tuesday special. Portions were generous and satisfying. The breading on the chicken was homemade and flaky served in a fresh Kaiser roll and topped with home made sauce and broiled mozzarella. The fries were home cut and tasty but a bit on the soggy side for my liking. The salad bar was fresh and plentiful, consisting of regular leaf lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber slices and onions, along side potato salad, coleslaw and all the dressings you could want. Service was very friendly and attentive and everything was priced right.
This is a great restaurant! Excellent menu done correctly when ordered. Everything was very tasty. Very friendly and attentive staff. Plus the atmosphere was top notch! No TV or music smothering out the conversation. The interior is bright clean and roomy. Having stuffed animals and live elk on the property topped off the aura of a wonderful place to eat. And the prices are reasonable!
The food was very good. Sweet potato fries were excellent. Each meal had no vegetables which was okay with me. If you don't order fried scallops, I ordered grilled I received cooked scallops that were put in a dish of hot maple syrup one inch deep, which cooked them even more. I love maple syrup, but that was too sweet and overcooked.
Great food, awesome atmosphere. Travelled 70 miles just for lunch!
Stopped in for lunch on a Friday... Immediately noticed the service wasn't very attentive. When it came time to order asked if the prime rib was ready for the day. The guy checked out back and said it was, so ordered prime rib. The appetizer fried pickles was wonderful however as soon as I saw the entree I was disappointed. They "warmed" up yesterday prime rib, and it was cold. And only asked if I needed a refill on my drink after I was finished my meal. Save your money go somewhere else.
