Cousins Restaurant - The Dalles, Oregon. Cousins' whole purpose in life is to serve up really good, hot home-style cooking at affordable prices for our neighbors and visitors alike. In this way, we can honor our family’s tradition of real Northwest hospitality and our terrific family recipes. We want you to remember us as a really fun place to have a drink, satisfy your hunger and catch your breath - without any pretension!

Cousins Restaurant in The Dalles, Oregon and Now Serving Pasco Washington. Instead of a French wine list, you’ll find great local micro-brews, instead of steak tartare, you’ll find a big 12 oz locally raised sirloin, and instead of a smattering of pomme de frites, you will find a heaping plateful of homemade mashed potatoes and gravy that would make your grandma proud. Save room though, because instead of a melon ball scoop of starfruit sorbet for dessert, you will be introduced to our regionally famous Cousins' in-house bakery, renowned for it's giant cinnamon rolls, homemade biscuits, bread pudding and assorted pies, all made with the finest ingredients from local orchards and baked fresh daily.

Great service. The cinnamon buns were amazing. The omelette was ok - nothing special. The hash browns were mediocre at best. The servings are very generous- my wife and I split the omelette and it was more than enough. The waitress generously brought it on two plates. The tractor in the dining room is a surprise. We asked how they got it in there. Our waitress said they built the dining room around it.
This place is amazing for kids! My four year old boy was mesmerized by the model train going around the restaurant, they had a decent selection of children’s food, and the children’s flapjack is big enough to feed an army of small children!! Excellent fresh omelet and friendly service. If you’re passing through highly recommend stopping here at this one of a kind experience
Nice little place in The Dalles, Oregon. Stopped in on a road trip and got the chicken fried steak. Loved the tractor in the middle of the dining area and even more outside. When you come in, you're greeted by barn animal noises. Will definitely be back if I'm in the area.Food: 5/5
Omgoodness Waitress Nichole was super nice. She said they make all their food scratch when I asked about the chicken pot pie. And it is sure good!! Bread rolls and butter. Now that roll was heavy and gooood not light and full of air.Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes
Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram at SNDTRAVELS and EATWELLTRAVELOFTEN 1.15.23 Late breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Diane had the French toast eggs and bacon. Everything was tasty and the use of real Texas toast was perfect and the bacon was great. I had the crispy chicken salad and it was fresh and very enjoyable. The chicken was crispy and tender. Overall, it all was fresh and seasoned well. Overall, recommended two thumbs-up
A pretty cool sit-down diner. Similar to a Sharis but has a more unique atmosphere. Very country western. The food was tasty, maybe a 4/5.
Good homemade cooking! Loved the fresh warm bread, pot roast, turkey dinner and my beverage was perfectly made Good proportions and wonderful customer service! Would definitely stop again when we pass through!
Really good food and service, good deals and a fun place to be. Trains and farm equipment themed. Found this place when staying at the inn. But have been back a few times just to go to the restaurant for biscuits and gravy Food: 5/5
For the last 6 years my husband and I have been coming to Cousins to the saloon and watching the Seahawks games with the exception of the pandemic. We have always been treated so well especially by Tway sorry if I spelled your name wrong. All the servers and staff are amazing. We felt at home every game. The food was always amazing and we never had to ask for a drink refill. If “our” table was taken when we got there they would get us and move us the minute it opened up. This Saturday we will be moving so today was our last game for we don’t know how long. We wanna say thank you from the bottom of our hearts and know that when we come visit we will be stopping in. Waiter was very friendly however, slightly forceful in encouraging other items. Kiddos ordered the strawberry flat cake and the regular. They really enjoyed the bacon, but the strawberry syrup tasted fake. The pancakes were cool cuz they were shaped like a bear or a mouse, however they weren't anything fancy. My BLT was super yummy. Came with more bacon then I was expecting. Fries were on the salty side. Husband loved his deep fried shrimp and was perfectly sized. We ordered apple pie for desert paired with ice cream that we had to pay a little more for. It was good but not your grandma's pie. Overall, I would have given a 5 however, their windows were extremely dusty so they lost a star for that. I loved the theme of everything. Very country folk with every aspect. Loved that the water glasses were jars. Took us back to when we were kids. We had a pleasant time here.
