I stayed at the Courtyard in Dartmouth for two nights on a business trip and was genuinely impressed by the overall quality of the hotel compared to others in the same chain. The room was very clean, modern, and well-equipped with all the comforts needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was quiet — perfect for rest after a long workday.nnThe lobby is beautiful and inviting, and the bar and breakfast service were both very good. This hotel is ideal for business travelers, and I would definitely choose it again in the future.

That being said, there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance abd a bistro on-site.
We love spending time at the Courtyard. Great comfortable rooms that are pet friendly. Love the continental breakfast and pool. Could use more EV charger as they have 1 EV charger that is always being used.

Plus, having such a wide array of dining options, gas stations, and shops right on its doorstep is a huge bonus, especially after a long day of work when you just want something quick and convenient without venturing far.nnThe hotel itself consistently delivers on what I need most: reliability and comfort. The rooms are always clean, desk space is ample, and the Wi-Fi is free and consistently reliable.nnThe staff are always professional and efficient. Check-in and check-out are seamless, and any requests are handled promptly. What impresses me the most is that staff have started addressing me by name after repeated visits.nnI also appreciate the on-site amenities. The fitness center is well-equipped for a quick morning workout, and the lobby area provides comfortable spaces for informal meetings or catching up on emails.nnIn short, for any business traveler heading to Dartmouth or the broader Halifax area, this Marriott branded hotel is an excellent choice.
Our check-in experience got off to a rough start — the overnight agent was quite rude and seemed to expect us to know exactly where to go without any guidance, which was frustrating.nnThe rooms themselves were comfortable, but the bathroom setup could use improvement — specifically, there aren’t enough towel hooks, which was inconvenient.nnThe biggest issue during our stay was spotting a mouse in the room. When I called the front desk, they only offered to move us to another room on the same floor. The housewoman who came to assist was kind and even tried to help catch the mouse with two cups, but unfortunately, we were unsuccessful. She mentioned that a manager would follow up with me in the morning, but I never received any call or update.nnOverall, the comfort of the room was decent, but the customer service and pest issue left a lot to be desired.
