This is a wonderful local pet store. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable in many different kinds of pets. We came in to check about some special order fish. It was nice to chat with the staff about fish and while we were chatting they let us know about some Repashy redrum! Supposedly it's used to really bring out the Reds in fish. Can't wait to try it out!
We shop here for 90% of our pet needs and supplies. The Staff and service are always excellent and the care and attention to details is evident. The stores always clean the animald are always happy, the prices are... somewhat reasonable

We shop here for a majority of our exotics needs. Great placement really decent prices and super friendly professional staff always a joy to stop in.
I absolutely love this pet shop. The staff there are super friendly and very knowledgeable with all sorts of exotic animals. We've gotten numerous pets from them, including rats, lizards, and arachnids. I adore every animal we've gotten from them, and have to keep myself from getting more whenever we go in there! It's always a pleasure to talk to staff about our animals and ask for advice for toys, treats, and enclosure upgrades for all of our pets. While there are a few nice pet shops I've been to on the island, Courtenay Pet Center is good for having a bit of a wider range in exotic pet supplies that I can't always get closer to home.
I don't want to give a bad review, since I love looking around this ship and I like the staff. However, one of my guppies I recently brought here had Camallanus worm and has spread it via cross-contamination and/or cohabitation. My tanks are devastated, one guppy has already died.
Incredible store with quality products. Animal care and enclosures are top notch. Staff was so helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
The staff here know there products, not like the big box stores. Here the staff are not pushy, they are helpful, if you are looking for fish they will help you find compatible tank mates.
This place caters to people who really love there pets. The pet industry often caters to anyone who wants to buy the product, pets and food they sell to make that possible. This center takes some precautions to feel comfortable about re-homing the pets they have to sell. I would recommend this store to anyone who is cautious when it comes to adopting new pets. They have the most natural salt water aquariums I have ever seen. I have visited this store many times and have asked to purchase fish that where in quarantine. They would never sell contaminated fish. They hold high regards to the trust there clientele has with them. This is a valuable and reputable pet store.
