Very cool place to visit to check out fossils and the people were so nice and knowledgeable. We had a great time visiting!
I was surprised to see creatures fossils in this museum, such a old big tree trunk and nice collection of small tools used for excavation.
There are cool fossils and interesting information about the local history. Our dinosaur loving 5 year-old liked it, but it's pretty small. We finished in a half an hour.
Very small but the kids enjoyed. Teen working was full of sass when my 5yr old nephew went upstairs to show his mom the Dino tails attached to him. There's only one way in/one way out. They're not exactly inconspicuous.
Great museum! There are many demonstrations and guest speakers as well as interactive displays. Worth a visit
This museum is a gem. We did arts and crafts the exhibits were well carried out. We went during a birthday party for a dinosaur exhibit there was also cake, music, and face painting. My only criticism is while we were there the activities were not led but monitored.
For a small-ish town, this museum was great! Really up on the paleontology, although the rest of the museum was a bit bland. Also, the African lungfish was an interesting addition, but didn't add all that much. Hard not to feel sad for the big guy in his little tank.
Pat, the curator was fantastic. We went with a group with our kids and he made it fun for the kids. Very personable. I love our history and he made it better. He was also patient as well.
Disappointing, had expected some authentic displays. If I want to see falsehoods, I'd watch Trudeau's election campaign, or anyone's for that matter.
