Such good food. The homemade jelly!! WOW! Had to buy some to bring home, it's that darn good! Our waitress, amazing!!!!! These are the kinds of places that make trips that weren't for a pleasant reason... better. Hope to have the opportunity to stop by again during happier family times. Thank you for the great service, delicious food and the delectable jelly!
Friendly and fast service. Delicious food. I ordered beef tips and noodles. Yeah that hit the spot. Excellent flavor, tender beef and well served. Don’t be shy take time to stop by and enjoy some great cooking
Stopped in Sunday on our way out of town after a nice 3 days weekend. This is the place to be. All the local guys come in drink coffee, eat breakfast, everyone knows one another or treats ya like there own. The staff is extremely attentive, friendly, and fun! We were listening to 50s music today, one even danced a little. Thr homemade pies and bakery looked amazing, but I had my tastebuds on eggs and meat! Coffees warm and keeps coming! Our meals did not disappoint one bit. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
First, we waited way too long for ordering breakfast as we saw others' food came a lot faster than ours. Second and the biggest issue is The cook has terrible time management. The food tasted good but most of our food was cold. While the main part of my breakfast skillet was hot, my toast was completely cold. My wife's eggs were cold and my kids' biscuits and gravy were cold you could tell the plate was made and sat for a while as it didn't have the shiny look it was dull. You know the look. Seriously have the cook learn time management and how to plate food so it doesn't sit forever.
Took a road trip and saw this place so we stopped. I had breakfast for lunch and the service was good. My coffee cup never ran empty. I had the steak and eggs special with American fries. Also was talked into a cup of cream of asparagus soup that was outstanding. My breakfast came out quick and tasty. My only complaint is that I was full and didn't have room for the delicious looking apple pie in the display case. I highly recommend this little restaurant.
A hair pricier than expected and desired. With that being said, the server was extremely attentive and kind. On top of that, food was fresh and delicious. I recommend this for anyone looking to eat diner food at a large portion.
Best place to eat in town, and a trip down memory lane as my parents owned this restaurant in the early 90's. Never really had a bad meall here either and prices are fair.Food: 5/5
More than what I come to expect from a country diner Simply a lovely meal for the value With friendly staff and happy patronsFood: 4/5
Food was amazing. Lots of homemade from scratch stuff...cinnamon rolls, bread, pies. Kid-friendliness: Wait staff was accommodating to the kids. Smiley personalities! Parking: Gravel and cement base probably about 20 to 25 spots Wheelchair accessibility: Same level as parking lot.
Very good country food! Been here around 12 times and I have to say much better than Cracker Barrel. I recommend.
