My wife and I have made this one of our regular restaurants to visit. The menu variety is good and the food has been about average. We really like the salad bar selection. Its probably one of the best salad bars in the area.
So I'm not exactly to happy me and my fiance went in to go get some food on the go I asked for my buns and a separate container so they don't get soggy since we're on the road... I ordered a burger... well of course they put the burger together and my bottom bun was so soggy it was Dripping Grease so I asked for another bottom bun so he proceeded to get upset in the kitchen and give me a cold hard bun as you can tell from the picture it is not even toasted.. if the cook hates his job that much maybe he should go work somewhere else... Thanks for ruining my lunch the only thing nice about that place again was my server she was awesome!
It would have been ok but I had to ask for a remake since the bacon was stretchy I asked for crispy the eggs were folded when I asked for soft scrambled but good news is that the cook fixed the problem with the bacon not the eggs and I order a country fried steak it was full of gristle and a little overcooked.
Excellent and very clean place. Waitress was friendly and the cook made my food awsome. Get the butter milk chicken sandwich!
Pretty good sized salad bar with lots of items. Chili was great. Good and hearty on a cold day. Beats fast food Good sized entrees with some that have salad bar included. French fries were served hot and good seasoning. Food came fast. Waitress was great and friendly. Pretty reasonably priced.
We went to Country Pride to have dinner. I realize it was 10pm and close to closing time, but the salad bar was not replenished, it was out of a few things. We ordered our food, the only thing we enjoyed out of the 4 different meals we ordered were the pancakes. The burger my son got was so greasy that the entire plate had a layer of grease, his fries were soaked in the grease and therefore he didn't eat them. I ordered the grilled chicken dinner, off the menu. I recieved fried chicken and was told they don't offer grilled chicken, even though it is on the menu. I was not offered another meal instead. I ate the few things from the salad bar that I could and left hungry.
So we arrived this morning for breakfast. I haven’t been to this establishment in years due to moving away and was excited to bring my girlfriend here. Unfortunately after seating ourselves everything began to take a very long time. After 15 minutes we were able to put in our order which seemed awfully long seeing as it was not overly busy. My girlfriend ordered coffee with a biscuit and gravy, I ordered a long haul. We sat and watched as four other tables sat and ordered and then received their food prior to us. Finally after watching them have plenty of time to finish their meals I decided to ask how much longer till our order was ready. The waitress told me she’d ask but then never came to let me know the wait time. It seems as if our order was lost because we definitely were skipped in the order of food put in. We waited another five minutes with no reply and no food at that point we called it quits and let our waitress know we were leaving. We were in your establishment for over an hour and never got checked on, never given an apology for the wait, nothing. I’m very disappointed with the service today especially after looking through your reviews of the past few months and seeing so many others complaining of the same issues. What’s more frustrating is you claim to take the complaints seriously and will find a way to fix it for future guest, which judging by today is a far fetched story.
Breakfast was outstanding! Omlete was so fluffy and seasoned just right, toast was perfect and chewy not burnt...just how my Mom would make it! Service was excellent and so very friendly. It was so nice to be greeted by friendly faces.
I went there with a friend, around 1:30pm on a Saturday. We had an overall poor experience. We began with 8 of 40ish tables taken, and not a single of the empty tables were clean. I alerted the 1 waitress on duty, and after 4 or 5 minutes, she cleaned one saying 'I was just getting to that'. I ordered waters, and it took more than 10 minutes to get them, and the water tastes really chalky. That makes sense, since a lot of the flatware was covered in calcium buildup. . . The Salad bar was excellent for freshness, but pretty picked over. The pletes in the chiller are really, really cold! What there was remaining to choose from was excellent. I really liked the turkey pot pie soup! . . At the waitress's advice I ordered the hamburger steak which was a hamburger on a bun, and not a hamburger steak and tasted microwaved and was inedible. The fries were undercooked, and also not worth eating. . . My friend had the chicken tenders and said they were cooked, but only barely. My favorite quote was "ehugg! How could they ruin toast?" I don't know what was bad, but he said it was awful, probably the grill butter used to toast it. . . By the time we left, another family came and wiped their own table, and the waitress again said 'I was just getting to that'. By the time we finally left, she still had not cleared a single other table. . . It is a shame, really. The restaurant has such potential. They need a water filtration system for cleaner dishes and better tasting water, a better trained cook, and either a different or a better motivated waitress. . . Maybe breakfast would be better?
Was very dissapointed all around horrible experience. When we walked in, there was no place to sit due to dirty dishes on every table that wasn't already occupied. There was a few staff working, but went out for a ciggerette break. There was no clean plates for salad bar or soup bowls. When the plates did get stocked the salad bar was close to empty. Along with empty salad dressings. My meal came out in a timely fashion but watched a staff member sit down to take a break while there was dirty dishes yet on every single table. Also when the soup bowls finally got restoked, I tried a bowl of the vegetable beef. The hamburger was still raw. I was honestly very disgusted with my entire experience here, and wouldn't recommend this place to an enemy.
