Country Cousins Bistro & Bakery By Benz
"Country Cousins Restaurant was opened February 20, 1986. Though ownership has changed a number of times, it has always been a place to gather to enjoy great food, and even greater company. Locals love to engage with travellers to make them feel as though they are part of the community. t’s a place where the food transports you back to a simpler time, when families connected with each other around the dinner table. It’s a place that you can sit down and enjoy your favourite traditional Mennonite and comfort foods along side a bottomless glass of Sweet Tea. It’s a place people will drive/fly for hours, for just a taste of our world famous Peanut Butter Cream Pie.It’s a destination, but don’t forget to enjoy the drive! The Rempels"

Really enjoyed the selection for lunch. I was working in Linden for a few days and stopped in twice for lunch here. The first day I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. The bread was fresh and the sandwich was loaded with pulled pork and coleslaw, I had it with a side of portion of poutine. The poutine had a mild gravy loaded with cheese. On the following day I ordered the brisket . The meat was incredibly tender and the bun tasted incredibly fresh. While I was in the restaurant for my second lunch I discovered that they offered made in house pies. I ordered a peach pie for a treat when I got home. The pie was really nice, very homely I will definitely be stopping in for lunch and another pie whe I'm in the area next. I highly suggest if you’re in linden to stop here for lunch.
When I visited there. I saw an elderly who bought six cinnamon buns. Just feel like I must get one, and it was the last one left. Love my cinnamon bun so much. Support local business
Delicious lunch stop! Friendly and efficient staff. The perogies are amazing and a good piece of pie to top it off.
If your looking for a nice drive and a great lunch please make the trip to support this little gem. They have been struggling since COVID and could use all the help they can get. You have to try the peanut butter pie!!!! M
I had the best burger from this restaurant and I also had two pies at coconut cream and a peanut butter pie! Thanks to the staff and the restaurant for making my time a great one! What an awesome experience!! Also you have to try the peanut butter pie...!
We had the menonite pierogies and sausage. It was terrible!!sausage overcooked like leather, pierogies all dough little filling and a disgusting flour sause on top.Worst Mennonite food we have ever tasted and we love pierogies and koubasa. Will not be back, and to think we drove from Calgary to try the menonite food. We were there August 27th
Great spring 2021 outdoor dining set-up, friendly staff and an all-around great atmosphere. Perfect for lunch/dinner and some dessert to follow. Worth the trip, by either by road or air.
Terrific place. Food is homemade & locally sourced for the most part Portions were fair and the Service was great. I can’t believe people are complaining about this place. I had 10 perogies and sausage and my buddy had 5 perogies and a beef dip. We then demolished a piece of pie each. I had some home made sweet tea. Bill came to $75. What do you expect? McDs costs $20 each nowadays. I highly recommend this joint… to the person whining about “they didn’t refill my drink”! Hey did you ask? It’s a small town personable place. I found all the people working there chatty and friendly. And to the other cry baby lady saying she could get herself a ring of mundare garlic. You can’t compare eating a ring of garlic in your car to a dine in experience. Of course the dine in will cost more. What’s wrong with you people. Do yourself a favour and try this place.
