Hidden gem for kids! Go here. Inexpensive and just fantastic. Too many things to do to list out, but my kids really enjoyed the corn maze, the baby goats, the band stand, the abandoned mine, and the jail.
Fantastic place! Worth a visit! Every once in a while, I visit a place on vacation where the experience is so good, I wish my family and I lived closer so we could visit more often. This is one of those places. In our part of the country, this type of place tends to be more of a tourist trap, but Country Bumpkin is not that at all. Super activities for the kids and adults and a great value. All the staff are super friendly and everything about our experience is pleasurable. The only downer is that we were flying home the next day and couldn't buy any of the amazing looking produce. The next time we are in the area, we will be back and hopefully, we will visit early enough in our stay to buy and enjoy some fresh produce!
I can't stay enough good things about the play area and farm animals! We visited for the first time today while on vacation. My husband and I brought our toddler and easily spent over 3 hours playing. There is so much to do and we only paid 20$ with a coupon we got. Plus a dollar to feed the animals from the quarter machine. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for anyone with children 5/6 years and under. The property and animals were well maintained and The animals we soooo friendly.
My family and I stopped here before heading home from vacation. We had an absolute blast. This is a hidden gem and regret not coming sooner. There are so many things to do for kids as well as adults. During our two hour visit we still did not get to everything. Definitely coming here again!
We had an awesome time here! My kids really loved it. The animals were well taken care of and everyone was very friendly! Oh and they have humongous pumpkins!
We had a blast here with our 20 month old grand daughter. The play area is designed for younger children. The petting zoo is so cute. Everything is well maintained and clean.
We love this place, driven from 45+ min away several times! Great play farm with added bonuses of produce/mercantile shop, indoor bathroom, and pavilions to sit under for shade/snacks. IMO great for ages 3-13, maybe younger/older too depending on the kid. Us parents and grandparents had fun too! Great way to spend part of the day outside bonding with family/friends.
Our kids ages 3 and 1.5 years, and we as parents, love this little play village! It has so many adorable little buildings, activities, and playgrounds for the kids to play on, as well as so many funny animals. You can feed the animals and pet them which is a huge bonus. They also have ice cream and a cute little farmers market in the same area as the playground area. We even brought our own picnic and ate in the shaded picnic area.
This is such a fun and cute place! To start, the staff are all very friendly and welcoming. They are great with kids! When you get admission bands ours were $7 per person - including kids, you see the market they have. Lots of fresh produce, ice cream, and bakery items. You can also buy animal feed for the animals on the farm. Then, you navigate your way to the farm where you can feed and pet animals goats, donkeys, alpaca, and you can see the chickens. Make your way down the trail, and you come to the extensive play area. There is everything from sports activities, to play sets, to sand, to zip lines, and more! I was so impressed! These activity areas are well kept, and the grounds are also well kept. I saw some reviews about the price of the place. The only fee you really have to pay is the admission fee. From there, you can spend more on other items if you want animal food, market items, train ride - train only runs on weekends I believe. In my opinion, the fee is worth it! The money ensures people can get paid to help keep the place looking good, to help purchase new equipment for the play area, and to help care for the animals. I was so impressed that I decided to buy a season pass for my family. We live close enough that it’s worth it $40 per person. It was our first trip there, and we literally spent the whole day there. It’s very easy to do. So I’d recommend taking a picnic with beverages and sunscreen if it’s summer since there are activities for all age groups including adults!. Honestly, this is such a great place, fun for the whole family, and it would make for a great birthday/large group event!
Such a great place to visit! TONS of outdoor activities, very creative and multiple choices for endless fun! Excellent set ups for the perfect fall photo!
