Great park. Nice place for kids to run around. Adequate sitting bench’s for adults. However, does not have adequate play area for kids.
Feels brand new. Nice sidewalk ramps and stairs, nice accessibility. Built-in fire pit and benches. Built-in BBQs. Nice shelter building with restrooms and water fountains that you can rent, looks like it has kitchen facilities with serving window and shelf. Nice landscaping. Nice playground. Looks like area with raised garden beds. Lots of benches so you can sit and watch your kids. No parking lot and very little off street parking. Trash cans looked like they were attended and park looked clean.
A little farther from home than other parks, but still close enough for casual visits. The kids always seem to dive someone to play with. Park is always clean and the other park visitors are generally friendly. Parking is a little limited, sharing with an apartment building, or on the street on the opposite side of the park, but we always find a spot.
Visited the park after a long time today. Loved the play area and the walking paths. There is also a very neat sheltered picnic area with restrooms. The equipment is quite different from those in other play areas and makes this park more attractive. Loved the community garden and it's maintenance!! A beautiful initiative! The panelling on the shelter's roof and one of the play area structures had fallen off. But other than that, the park is a really good place to spend 1.5-2 hours with your kids.
Probably shouldn't say to much as I don't desire it to become overused, but this park is crown Jewel of blake and 7
The kids love coming to this park and I like it too- for the most part. I liked it more while they were still under construction because at least there was a port a potty here that they could use when they had to go to the bathroom. Why have this lovely concession area and restrooms when they are locked all the time? Where are people supposed to go? When they start leaving the bathrooms unlocked during daytime hours, I’ll change my review to a 5 star.
Always a fun place to play when we have some extra time. Perfect for placing a pizza order at Luce just up the road and then playing at the park till it's ready to go! Or a pizza picnic at the park in the warm months!
A group of 50 would find the park facilities room enough for an event. Including tables and refreshments. Plenty of room for kids soccer on the adjacent lawn. There are walkways winding around the park. A pleasant place to be.
This is a great park, perfect for kids 3+. Unfortunately under 3 is less enjoyable. Is is visually appealing and the little ones will still enjoy running around!
Great quaint modern park with nice equipment. My 3 year old and 7 year old love it here! Nice that there is a working fountain for the kids to play with water on hot summer days as well.
