Only make an appointment at Costello Eye in Watertown if you are willing to wait in an over crowded waiting room ALL day. My appointment was first thing in the morning and 3 hours later I left because I had not been seen yet. There were many others who had been there as long and waiting patients were over flowing into the outside hall. They are not busy because they are good. They are busy because they over book.

First appointment of the day and they still can't get you in on time. I had to reschedule appointments because they keep you waiting. And the receptionist says, they have your chart m. If Syracuse wasn't an 70 minute drive I would drive there

Dr. Costello is a good doctor, however he overbooks appointments. You have to plan at least a 2 hour wait. Today, it was almost 3 hours.

I had a wonderful experience and felt respected by competent professionals. All staff used my name, provided exceptional service, saw me at my scheduled time and got me out of there within 40 minutes after a comprehensive exam by 3 staff! I highly recommend this practice!

I told John J Costello that he was my hero after he did cataract removal and specialty lens implants for me. I was so impressed with his staff and the whole process from evaluation to solution to getting it done. I had gone to many eye doctors for years and no one gave me the eye sight that I have now, even with corrective lenses. I can’t express enough how thankful that I am for John and his staff. The gift of eyesight is the answer to my prayers. I recommend them highly. Words can’t even come close to expressing how thrilled I am with my Gift of sight!

If you want to wait here all day, just waiting to be seen and taken care of. COME HERE! I’ve been here three times. 1st time was a 4 hour wait. 3rd time was almost 2 hours. Don’t make any plans for the day if you have an appointment here on that day.

APPT was at 9:30a, they called her in at 9:45a and still waiting at 10:33a not happy time to find a new dr.The dr finally came in at 9:40a
