I really like this Costco over the others in Edmonton. I find the layout more accessible, with less stuff blocking up the aisles. As a wheelchair user, this is important to me. I also find it less busy than the other ones. This means I have less problems, such as people running into me, or making me stop suddenly, which then requires me to expend even more energy starting moving again (my wheelchair is a manual chair). These things make it more wheelchair friendly than the others. In addition, the staff are friendly and very helpful. I had a manager get one of the workers to assist me by pushing the cart around the store with me the entire time I was shopping. It was a good business move because instead of buying two things I could carry on my lap, I bought a cart full. But, it also demonstrated to me that my business means something to them. The majority of business don't provide such simple assistance. I never have any problems with having them pack my purchases into my van either. The tellers usually ask if I need assistance out before I get a chance to ask for it. I find it much easier to get a disabled parking stall that is wide enough for me to deploy the ramp to get in and out of my van. Although, disabled parking is still not always easy to get at this location, all of the stalls are wider, something I don't think is true of the of the other locations. There are other, non-accessibility related reasons I prefer this Costco. When it is really busy, all of the tills are open, and the tellers tend to move people through quickly. I haven't found the others to be this efficient. The parking lot is set up better than the others. The cafe is busy, but seems more efficient than the other stores, and there are more tables. The one complaint I have, and it's one I have made many times to management, is that they tend to hire younger staff to bag/box and put in the cart merchandise that has been rung through the till, and they don't seem to provide them with sufficient training. Many of these employees are terrible at packing and have damaged products before I've even gotten them out of the store. For example, they have put bread in the bottom of a box, and then placed very heavy items on top, so that the bread is squished completely flat; or, they have put berries or other delicate produce in a cooler bag, and then put a case of canned goods on top of the cooler bag in the cart; and spinach or some other leafy green vegetable under canned goods, heavy boxes, or a large bag of apples or potatoes. Management has always assured me that they do not find it acceptable either and have often repacked the products, replacing the damaged ones themselves. They have also told me that they will ensure that all of the packers are properly trained to prevent this from happening. Unfortunately, it continues quite often. I tend to choose the till I go to based on who is working it, and I watch the packer to ensure that they aren't wrecking my merchandise while packing it. On the whole, I find this Costco to be more accessible, and customer friendly. The staff all appear very happy to assist, and the management always seem to respond to customer concerns.

First of all I love the parking lots at Costco. The way they paint the lines makes sure there is enough room for cars to park without hitting each other with their doors. There are always many cards in several locations to grab before going in to start your shopping. The selection is amazing and the prices are fantastic! The staff are always super friendly and super helpful on finding things you need, and assistance is usually required due to the massive size of the store. I love that it is a one-stop-shop for all your needs. And I always come away with something that I did not have on the list but am very happy to have bought.

NE Costco is the best of all of them in Edmonton. Returns are never a struggle. The best thing about it... Is their Rotisserie Chicken beats all of the others! Books are great to look at too.

Costco is the best. Always great deals for amazing food. Of course if you're not satisfied, they will return it no problem. I like their MasterCard program where you get a portion of cash back depending on your spending habits.

Extremely busy starting from the parking lot very hard to get a a spot very crowded gas bar also very busy staff in gas bar not professional. No self pay inside the store you have to wait at least 15 - 20 minutes on line up before you pay, no plastic bag. Overall its a very good place for big shopping you save a lot it worth the waiting.
