Costa Verde BBQ Chicken

Food is delicious and no complaints. Only problem happen on June 23 2022 at 4:07pm They forget to add part of my order half ribs that is compressive for massive orders they have... But when I went to complain they sent me to hell and the Latin woman who was there did not want to attend to me. Later I tried to call and they only told me we are going to call you and they never did. I would only like that they have given me a good treatment and have solved my disagreement

Great hot table for take out. Real BBQ chicken, ribs and wings fried. I had thr pulled pork sandwich and a pound of wings with hot sauce and a garden salad. All A+ with an authentic, home-cooked taste. The salad was really fresh and the dressing was fantastic. This is a cash only place. Definitely coming back to trying more.

Wow, most horrible experience ever. And they added a tip automatically to my bill which I didn’t realize until I’d reached home. Chicken was below acceptable standard. Very tough. Blood still in it. Tiny pieces of chicken. Must have been the smallest chicken ever. Overpriced. And was served with no sauce. I even asked before I ordered “is the chicken served with sauce?” She said “yes, a mild sauce”. Chicken arrived. No sauce. I asked for the sauce she said “oh I can take your plate back to the kitchen and put sauce on it for you.” Why? Why can’t you just bring the sauce here and apply it. Or charge me if you must for a side order of sauce. But stop fighting with me about the sauce. The chicken is too dry to eat without a sauce. And I did not trust them to take my plate back to the kitchen snd I didn’t understand the reason why. Why can’t sauce be brought to me? What is the secrecy about? Why is it that I’m not allowed to see you put the sauce on my chicken? Why is that a hidden procedure? And when I arrived I looked at the listed menu, price for 1/2 chicken was 14.50. We sat at the table, they gave us a menu, price for the exact same item was 16.00. Why? Same food. Same portion. Why am I being charged more in one part of the store than the other part? And they will only accept cash. Because they don’t want to pay taxes, and want to cheat the taxman. And chest their customers. I will never go to this place again. Swiss chalet across the street has better food, better service, better prices, and no bad attitude and no sense of entitlement. All 4 of us decided we’ll never go back here. And we’re going to spread the word.

This was close to my work and always smells good. I went for lunch not long after it opened. I got a lunch combo which was $14 and reasonably priced. The chicken was good .. the potatoes were a bit disappointing...it tasted like it needed to be cooked a little more and warmed up. The vegetables were okay.

Not only does Costa Verde have the best Portuguese food in the city, their customer service and staff are the best. Even during high volume times, they serve and make food with love and kindness. Thank you especially to Maria, she was very accommodating and generous. I will definitely see you all next week for another large order. Obrigada!!!

Very very disappointing, I had placed a large order which I was told it would be $500.90 and when I went by to drop off the deposit, they gave me another cost which was $600. I spoke with one of the owners -Jonathan and he assured me they would honor the first price $500.90 the order was picked up on Oct 22 at 3pm and they said the price was 590.00. At that point I was not going to argue as it was for an event. The worst part is the food was spoiled, smelled bad rice and veggies within 3 hours of it being served, a complete waste of money and time. Very bad service and so disappointing as it was to feed 70 people.

The food might be good but when you order for pickup they give you what they want and not what you ask for. This is the second time that I order for take out and again I ask for MEDIUM potatoes and MEDIUM rice and that give me Large everything and tell me that I HAVE to take what they prepared and won't give me what I ordered. Last time I ordered 2 whole chicken and they gave me 3 and told me the same thing when I went to pick it up.

Probably one of the best "Portuguese chicken" I've had. And I'm portuguese! We ordered the Family paCK #1. Great portions, the rice has a nice garlic flavour and was cooked perfectly! Potatoes are so fresh and have nice texture. Yorlis was helpful and pleasant to deal with. This will be our new Portuguese Chicken place! You will get more than your moneys worth here

We placed an order using Uber Eats for a group lunch. It got cancelled last minute. No valid reason. Food is good but the customer service is horrible. I do not recommend this place and will not be going back. Terrible and stressful experience.

I ordered a whole roast chicken from Uber eats here and I thought I would let you know how it was. The chicken was delicious and juicy. Despite it being coated in extra hot sauce, you were still able to taste the chicken which you could tell had some level of preparation before being thrown on a grill. My whole family liked the chicken, and the best part, it was a great bang for the buck at $13. I would definitely recommend this place. I also loved the care they put into packaging the chicken. If you need to make a quick meal you could grab the chicken and make side dishes on your own. So versatile. Here are a couple pictures.
