Humongous Sandwich If you love Italian Sandwich this is the place outside of Woodbridge to savour them. It is huge and fills your hungry belly. Fully loaded with cheese and don't forget the hot chilli in oil. Nono Cosimo makes them best and homemade. A mark of true Italian hospitality I was asked if I would like to have a coffee. Also do visit for assorted cold cuts. Remember the place is CASH ONLY
Amazing veal sandwich huge portion for a very good price and always fresh .and the owners are wonderful Amazing sweetest couple you will ever come across definitely will be back and plus the sandwich is huge for 12 bucks cash .
Went there for a veal sandwich based on Google reviews. It's a little mom and pop shop deli can get your daily necessities and things. I grabbed veal sandwiches for the family which were quite good. I went on a Sunday so not really much happening from their hot table that was given an average of 4 stars have to go during the week when they are more active and their hot table is stocked with other hot foods like pastas and sausages and the like. Will repost again when I get the chance to revisit this place at a later date.
Only giving it 3 stars because of owner...he was so kind. Veal Sandwich was not fresh, probably from the day before and microwaved, as we're the toppings and bread. Ill try it again on a weekday. Had to throw it away after 2 bites. But the owner is so nice.
Heard about their veal sandwich so had to try it out. Sandwich was big and had generous portions of veal. Ordered 2. Mamma behind the counter was super nice. Bought some of her Calabrese biscotti. Will absolutely return.Food: 5/5
I wish to thank our fellow Google reviewer / Foodie Manny for sharing this gem with all of us. You have made the call and now we will answer your call and try this place out. First of all, when I hear about good old no nonsense home cooked Italian food cooked by a "nonna" type Italian lady. What is there NOT to love right? A true classic mom & pop business run by hard working people who prepare and serve unprententious home made Italian classics like Veal sandwiches, Lasagna, Chicken stew and rice.......etc. Please do treat yourself to good home made Italian dishes. You will be glad that you did. The veal sandwich is simply HUGE !!!! And did I mention that it is friggin HUGE !!! You can feel its heft when you lift it for your first bite. The toppings are beyond generous with sauteed onions, bell peppers and mushrooms. The veal was delicious and enjoyable. The sauce was not too acidic, just perfect "tomato-y" in harmony with the crusty Italian bread. I also purchased the Lasagna and the lovely "nonna" lady gave me a meatball for free to try. You can't get any better than this. I will have to write an addition later on after I have had a chance to try it. No chance right now because that Veal sandwich is a Monster !!! This is 476 ft monster Home RUN into the upper right field deck with an exit velocity of 118MPH !!! A+++ experience all the way here. Please give them a try and let us all know what you think.
Found this little deli today and decided to try a sandwich i got a chicken and swiss cold cut with nona's homemade hot pepper sauce it was very tasty and filling. What a lovely couple may god bless their souls extremely kind and friendly!
Hello fellow foodies I got an amazing review for you today..I just love italian veal sandwiches ,definitely my favorite type sandwich and I have tried them from most places in the GTA . I was told by a family member to try out Cosimos deli veal , so i was in the area so decided to stop in and try out there italian veal sandwich. This italian deli is tucked away in a small plaza on the north side of dundas just past Mavis rd ..its almost easy to not see this deli but look for the yellow sign on the end of building . It's an amazing elderly italian couple that runs the place , she does the cooking and he works along side in deli with her serving these marvelous veal sandwiches. They remind me of my grandparents just amazing people with love for there food and for there customers. So friendly so amazing. Food 5/5 let's just start by saying if I could rate it higher then 5 I would it's just that good . First of all it dosnt get more authentic as far a italian veal goes. The bread is the real italian deal , not like the kinda buns you get at Californias , this is real italian loaf crunchy crust on outside and soft on inside, home made style just like mama makes. The veal was tender perfectly cooked not greasy so flavorful I couldn't believe how great the veal tasted with a nice coating of there homemade tomato sauce , I have to say the sauce was just incredible . Topped with there perfectly seasoned grilled onions green peppers and a few hot peppers in an olive oil base that soaked so nicely into that amazing bread . He also sliced two fresh slices from a big block of provolone cheese , and heated up sandwich in oven to melt the cheese . This is now by far the best best veal sandwich I have ever had and I now have my goto place for italian veal sandwiches. The veal was $10 but to be honest I would gladly pay $20 for this sandwich it's just that good people. My pictures speak for themselves as you can see. Service 5/5 again if I could give the service rating for this place more then 5/5 rating it totally deserves it. The elderly couple that run this place are genuinely so nice and you can see how much passion and love goes into there food and customer satisfaction..The man even offered me an espresso while I was waiting for my sandwich . I dosnt get any nicer then that ..please get to this place and support this couple and deli they are top notch . Try them out and enjoy the best veal in town by far
The BEST veal and meatball sandwich EVER! They are huge and delicious. So tender that the veal melts in your mouth! So flavourful! You must try it for yourself! Amazing food and amazing service and amazing people!
A pleasant little restaurant and small goods store. The owner is very kind and welcoming. The food is great, nice fresh bread and a great sause. With fast and clean service to top it all off.
