I do not understand why does this restaurant has 4.6 ratings. We came here thinking we might get to eat some good halal Mexican food. Taste was definitely not good, but what upset us most was the hygiene of the restaurant. We didn’t eat anything and had to throw away everything.
Wonderful new addition to the halal cuisine. Place is very cozy looking and clean. The waitress was a wonderful and awesome Somali? Sister. Food selection was great and tasty. My only complaint is the rice was a bit dry for me but overall it was great. We even got a freebie appetizer compliment from the chef/owner, which was a very nice gesture for a first time customer there. We will definitely come back whenever we are in this area.
Fantastic service and great food. First halal Mexican restaurant I have ever seen. Mole is great! Best horchata I have had. Everything is made fresh daily, and the fried ice cream is to die for! Entrance is on the south side.
So glad that my friend took me for birthday treat here as I only eat halal. Everything was so...good...from customer service to the meals we ordered. I definitely recommend others to give it a try :
The food was delicious especially Chipotle flavored chicken. The added advantage is it serves halal food. Do tey their special rice drink. A must go for all halal followers who like Mexican food. In Seattle its a rare combo.
Amazing experience. Went during the grand opening. Each dish was amazing. I ordered the Wet Burrito, and it was layered was flavor. I would advice to ask for their salad sauce or guacamole and add it to the burrito. Personal preference: have more sauce More growth is needed but their in the right direction! This will soon be my favorite Mexican restaurant in Seattle. HOOD APPROVED
Never had Mexican food before coming here but the food I had told me that I'd been missing so much. The food tastes amazing and fresh, and the staff are ridiculously nice.
Mom and pop style Mexican restaurant run by African immigrants. This is what makes America great! No irony. The food is outstanding. We all had the taco platters: Baja fish, chicken pastor, and Baja shrimp. They come with rice and refried black beans. The chips and guacamole were home made and delicious. Horchata and tamarindo drinks were also home made and delicious. Service was warm and attentive. A small food timing snafu was acknowledged and corrected with an extra complimentary dish.
This place really knows how to make delicious tacos. We tried several different ones and they all were delicious. The service was good as well. I liked that the server was friendly and spent time telling you about the different entrees. If you like your sauce hot, you gotta try the habanero, it does not disappoint.
Great food, tried the Pollo en crema de Chipotle and the enchiladas. Enchiladas were good but the highlight was the cream sauce with the chicken, so good! Awesome to find Halal Mexican option
