Fun place to play pool and darts and food is definitely on point. They now have nightly industry nights in which they offer free pool for restaurant, bar, and other service professionals. Karaoke is on Sunday nights as well. Service is hit and miss though. Ordered food and the wrong amount came out. That or we got overcharged, which seems to happen here quite often. Check your receipts and tabs for sure.
I went into corner pocket on Sunday evening. We ordered a sampler and the food was great! Got a few drinks, played some pool. When we hit the karaoke side we had a BLAST! Melissa was great! Everyone loved her! She hustled to work both side like a champ and was the life of the party! When you have a server who makes everyone smile you've got yourself a keeper in the restaurant industry! Some feedback: the heater outside is broken...it makes weird noises. The rug by the pool table was coming up and that tripped me up a little. And the guys with long hair were prepping food without wearing a hair net...who knows...maybe that's why the sampler tasted so good. ‍
It's a fun night out with the girls. Weekends there is live music and dancing. There is a cover after 9 on the weekend but it's well worth it for the live music. Other than that there is the kitchen open and ready to serve. The dart boards, the pool tables. The bar tenders, bar backs, waitresses. The customers. It's a pretty awesome place.
Great atmosphere for an afternoon date with my wife. Hung out on the patio with our drinks for a while. Then we went inside and played some billiards and threw darts. So happy they have a TouchTunes jukebox. No need to interrupt our precious little bit of time by walking across the place to put bills into a jukebox! Already made plans to return! Reason for 4 stars instead of 5: Issues with the payment system. Absolutely refused to accept payment from my card. It kept getting declined. However, no issues with my wife's card. Spoiler alert... it's a joint account... both of our cards pull from the same checking account.
Corner pocket is a great sports bar. They have ample seating, and a large wrap around bar. They have 18+ pool tables, shuffleboard, darts as well as items for sale. You can buy darts, pool cues, cigars etc. This bar has slowly become my go to bar in the area and I keep enjoying it more and more. Usually there isn't a cover charge, but there is on nights where they have bands or larger events.
Must be chill to visit. 21 and older. First visit. The environment is welcoming young/ old and loud/quiet. It was awesome people watching. There will be a wait for a pool table. Come hungry, food is real good-also full bar! They had a couple TVs, to say that it is impossible to look in any direction and not watch a match, a game, a sport. Staff is great. Could we please add gingerale or gingerale beer to the menu? Will revisit. 12/hour to slap the balls. Food and drinks was reasonable on price. Have no photos to much fun.
I haven't been here in a long time, but returned to see a friend's band and loved to see the remodel of the stage and lights. Music was managed pretty well and was not overbearing, even right up at the stagefront. As always, parking was an absolute pain and you usually have to park far away so keep valuables out of sight in your vehicle or better yet, rideshare. The place seemed well staffed, but still experienced frustration getting a simple draft pour. I've never been to the pool side, but it was packed and everyone there seemed to be having a great time.
Kayla was amazing! Service was fast, she was courteous, and she made sure we were well taken care of. She's awesome every time we have her as our waitress
A place where the locals come to watch sports and can get their pool fix. Several tables, lots of leagues, and the staff makes sure you're accommodated. Tracy was my tender and sever. She did a nice job making sure I had what I needed during my visit.
PLEASE READ...Any business that operates as a public service, such as hotels, restaurants, movie theaters, stores, malls, and parks, must allow entry to service dogs and their handlers. I was told my service dog and I could not be in this establishment because there is food and open containers. I entered the business around 2pm on Sunday with my service dog full harness service vest with the federal service tag exposed with name and picture and was told to leave..."no dogs in here we have food and open containers." I said "ok she is a fully trained service dog and here's her identification with QR code to scan to verify her federal registration." The response was "I don't care no service dogs allowed." I hope no other person has to go through the embarrassment, disrespect and discrimination as I did today because of having a federally approved trained service dog.
