I think this place has improved. The drinks are great! The space is cozy, making it a perfect spot to catch up with friends or study. Their pastry is delicious, and I highly recommend the carrot cake. The croissant sandwiches are fantastic, as is their charcuterie board. You must try their butterfly tea latte! And don't miss the ice strawberry matcha. Their morning smoothies are also quite good.
This was a really nice place. Very trendy and great options. They were a little busy so there was a delay getting our drinks but over all it was nice drinks and snacks, drinks and atmosphere.
Its what's printed on the tin. Its cozy and fair priced for the quality you get. The staff is friendly as long as you are. Its a good spot it's going to get busy don't let that ruin your experience. Only negative is something they can't fix downtown has no good parking. call your council representative and make a complaint. The place is amazing give it a try if you haven't.
I have always enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere of this cafe right in the middle of the downtown core. I have often met for networking events or casual conversations here. Somedays are quiet and still while others are bustling and energetic! I have enjoyed sandwiches, treats and beverages!
Other reviews are correct. This is a great place to meet for a coffee, beer, or light lunch. I visited on a Saturday afternoon. It was a little difficult to find a table - I had to sit somewhere that wasn’t bussed. The service setup makes things slow and a bit uncomfortable; you line up to order, there’s 1 coffee machine / barista, you wait for your food. Then you find a place to sit. It’s easy to see that the wide variety of drink choices makes it difficult for the staff to keep pace, and to avoid delays. I stood waiting for ~30 min; which didn’t bother me, but standing there, my completely unqualified view made it seem like small changes might have saved me from being uncomfortable. I’d still go back. $14 for a tasty freshly made sandwich and a large cappuccino, plus a $5 tip brought me to under $20 for lunch in a warm and cozy downtown place with friendly staff.
