Good food, good atmosphere. Tables aren’t too crowded. Our server was great and friendly; attentive, but not too much. Food was pretty good quality. Overall a good meal and experience. Would definitely recommend
1. Atmosphere: nice interior 2. Food: I asked to serve an appetizer, a pizza and a white fish all at once. Fish and pizza were not as hot as the appetizer coliflower. Probably because they were cooked and waited until coliflower is ready..? 3. Service: I fell down right in front of the restaurant because of the thin ice. I told one of the server that I fell down and suggested to spray the salt. I was expecting him to say, "are you okay""we will spray the salt", he said, "no, it's too soon". Too soon for what? Then he finally went out to spray the salt or whatever only after he saw another customer, who came in after me, nearly fell down on the slippery ground.
Figured we would give Copperhouse's new menu a go tonight. We gotta say, the pizzas are still pretty good we had the Buffalo chicken and southern smoked brisket. However, we also order the stuffed mushrooms, and those were a complete disappointment. For $17 you get a pitiful 5 shriveled mushrooms and the focaccia that you get could have been mistaken as a brick.
Really nice spot for a date night in Yellowknife. I went here with my boyfriend and We were really impressed by how classy it is! They have really nice salads and the option of non-alcoholic cocktails as well. Look forward to going again soon!
This was the second time I tried this establishment, first time it was busy, understandable when no one greets me...I left. This time, it didn't seem busy but ended up standing around for 10 min while the staff smiled at you but leave you standing. I am never going back. Ridiculous this is Yellowknife.
The service was amazing. This was the second time in a row that I ordered one of the pizzas. Last time was The Beast which was fantastic. Tonight I ordered the Brisket pizza. Amazing. I highly recommend you give their pizzas a try, you won't be disappointed. My wife tried the Feta mushroom pizza. Very good. Oh and the triple chocolate mousse desert once again ..Very good.
Comfortable, well-styled atmosphere with good service and a great brunch menu. The avocado toast and steak and eggs were full of flavour and well-portioned for a morning meal. Overall, positive experience.
First time to Yellowknife and heard through the vine that this was a great place to eat and man was I glad I went! Hands down, the house burger was the best hamburger that I've ever had. All freshly made on the spot and the fries were perfectly seasoned as well and the starter Cesar was just as delicious! Highly recommend this to anyone else. The atmosphere was great and the service was excellent!
Tried because it's near the hotel. Surprised on the food which is really nice. We tried the pizza which is special. Servers are friendly and the environment is nice. We finally went there twice! Highly recommended!
I really like this place, I've been here twice once for the soft open and the day of this posting. During the soft open the staff was a little flustered as is expected and the systems for orders was clunky and whatnot, but after a month or 2 of being open, wow it's fantastic, the staff is operating smoothly and the service was quick and excellent, staff is friendly and very helpful, food is a 10/10, I got the rib eye steak with chef vegetables and fries, all of them were on point and delicious to the point where I was more focused on the snap peas than the steak not implying the steak was anywhere close to bad, the steak was juicy soft and cooked to perfection. And the dessert was fantastic, it was a rendition of a nanaimo bar that had the original running for its money. The only thing I would have to say is if you are looking for a cheap meal, might not be the place, but it would be excellent for a group to go to because the shareables and pizza menu is extensive and covers a lot of bases. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to treat themselves to a very nice meal. 10/10 will eat here again as long as I'm in yellowknife.
