Food is great, delicious and affordable. Staff are well trained, warm and friendly. Space is clean, neat and tidy. I had the prawn curry which was scrumptious! I’ve always loved this place. Well done to management on a fine establishment.nPS: they have a new breakfast and lunch menu see attached photos. Give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.
The menu has been carefully crafted with both traditional and modern favorites hidden with a few surprises to add a layer of dimension and bold flavor. Our dream is to bring the soul of India to Winnipeg through Copper chimney delicacies.nFrom the moment you enter our staff will make you feel welcomed and we will always take our guest suggestions to improve and excel while we provide you with the ultimate dining experience.Copper Chimney was opened in mid of 2015 by a two talented chef with a collective vision of bringing cultured flavors of food by using “Mother” like cooking from different regions of India. Our Team is focused on making Copper Chimney dining experience one of a kind.nOur passion is a contemporary restaurant offering dining experiences to satisfy all aspects of fine cuisine, in a vibrant and trendsetting ambience.nSpice is a dried seed, fruit, root, bark, or vegetative substance primarily used for flavoring, coloring of food. Spices may have extra use usually medicinal, religious ritual, cosmetics or perfume production, or as a vegetable. For example, turmeric roots are consumed as a vegetable and garlic as an antibiotic. Spices were among the most demanded and expensive products available in Europe in the Middle Ages, the most common being black pepper, cinnamon, cumin, nutmeg, ginger and cloves.nCopper Chimney uses traditional Indian kitchen equipment to blend together many Indian spices to provide our guests with different flavors and colors of food from all regions in India.
Everything was pretty good but one suggestion that i think should be added is to serve in different sizes for the food because sometimes people can’t eat the whole meal or avoid to try something new because of large quantity. So should have option to choose a small quality as wellnOverall the food was amazing
Very nice ambiance and nice set up. Food is okay. Chicken Tikka masala should be tangy and a bit spicy not sweet. Mango shake was just water and mango flavor with vanilla ice cream, even if it's decent but definitely not worth $6. BUT the service was average. Take out orders - forgot my order items, Ordered 1 hour ahead but had to wait 15mins more. What's the point of ordering ahead?
Food and service are really amazing but atmosphere is quite disturbing as it is completely full at night so the best time to visit is morning or lunch to have a peaceful meal. I would recommend you to try egg biryani as a person like my friend who doesn’t like eggs but he still likes their biryani only. And for the appetizer do check out Dahi puri and harra bharra kabas for veg and for non veg you can get chicken tikka. For main course you can try Chicken korma if you eat non veg and mix veg or daal for veg. I am not a person who desserts so sorry I don’t have any recommendations for that but you van pair up your meal with mango shake and it goes so well with everything. I hope you like my recommendations.
