Copper chimney Indian restaurant is located in the Polo Park area of Winnipeg. It offers top quality north Indian and south Indian cuisine. The restaurant is very clean and well decorated. There’s plenty of seating – both booth and table as well as as a private area for parties and get-togethers. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The menu is wide and varied with everything from veg and non- veg including naan, butter chicken, dal makhani, chole, palak paneer. I ordered the vegetarian thali which came with a naan, raita, kheer, shahi paneer, dal makhani, and chole spicy chickpeas for only $14.99. Great value. It is located adjacent to a Peltz diamonds, Boston Pizza, and one great city, brewing Company, Safeway, Prairie endodontics and a short walk to Polo Park Mall. Great location. Free parking is available. I highly recommend.
Had a great experience at Copper Chimney. The food was delicious, authentic, and full of flavor, with everything served fresh and well-prepared. The masala chai is awesome, and the veg thali is very fulfilling and great value for money. Service was quick, efficient, and friendly—special thanks to Sangeeta and Sakshi for their attentive and warm service, which really made the experience even better.nnThe restaurant has plenty of seating, a great ambiance, and a comfortable, welcoming vibe. They also offer a good selection of cocktails, mocktails, and drinks. The washrooms were clean and well-maintained, which is always appreciated. A perfect spot for both casual dining and group outings. Will definitely be coming back!
Visited Copper Chimney at St. James and had a great dining experience. I ordered the Veg Thali, Chole Bhature Thali, Rose Faluda, and Dahi Papdi Chaat. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. The chole bhature were delicious, the thalis were satisfying, and the Rose Faluda was refreshing. Dahi Papdi Chaat was perfectly balanced. Overall, very good food and a pleasant experience. Would definitely visit again.
Copper Chimney was decent, gave it a try. Food was tasty, especially the goat dish - cooked well, just wasn't super authentic IMO.nPrices were a bit steep compared to other similar spots, so keep that in mind.nIf you're curious about Indian food and in the area, it's not a bad option to try once. Staff were fine, atmosphere was okay.
Really good food. Everything was so flavorful. I got a sizzling lamb curry with rice. Really good! Got the pani puri & vegetable kababs as apps. Also super yummy. The thalis were my favorite! They were so good I forgot to take a photo lol. Will def come back!
