Just had lunch there! Fabulous nOur server was amazing, and the food fresh. We will definitely be back!nFor those with campers and pets, there Is a tie out in the shade where you can watch them from the patio.nThe guys loved the craft beer while I enjoyed a house cola! Highly recommended
Absolutely a MUST visit. The flight of beers was outstanding. Real care has been put into their beer and ciders. Micro breweries are not normally known for the food. HOWEVER, the food was absolutely a 10. Trust me. If you're in Charlottetown, make the drive. Amazing place.
Come for the beer, stay for the Smash Burger. The kitchen at Copper Bottom is the best kept secret in Kings County … it shouldn’t be a secret, it is the BEST. There isn’t an item on the menu that isn’t fresh beet salad, delicious cauliflower tacos and interesting empanadas.nnI suggest you pair anything with a Centennial Stock my go-to fav enjoy the exceptional service, then take home one of everything. Cheers!
The staff at this place were incredibly friendly! It really added to the overall positive experience.nnWe kicked things off with the spinach dip as an appetizer, and it was creamy, flavorful, and had just the right amount of cheesy goodness.nnNext up were the cheesy potato & onion and curried chickpea handpies. We also tried the veggie flatbread. They did not disappoint! Overall, every single dish we tried was really delicious.
The best thing was the live music which was amazing. They also had great beer - as you’d expect from a brewery.nnI would however avoid the cauliflower tacos, there was barely any cauliflower in them and was basically that with a few pickled onions on top. They were quite bland and dry and expensive for what it was. Easily the worst tacos I’ve ever had. That’s fine, chalked it up to being a touristy spot.nnThe worst part though, is when you pay. Make sure to pay attention because the options screen to tip has the numbers displayed there as you’d normally see on most machines in increments similar to the usual percentages I.e. 15, 17…. The problem is that these were actually dollar amounts but the dollar signs weren’t displayed in front of these figures. So when I tipped, I thought I was tipping in percentage not dollars. Tipping $15 is kinda crazy for a bill that should have been $25 1 order of tacos, and 1 beer and that was their lowest tipping option. It’s on me for not having paid close attention while paying, but it is a bit of a deceptive practice. I’m sure I’m not the only person that has been caught by this. Ended up paying $40 for my tacos and a beer and noticed after paying. In addition to that, the service was extremely slow and I’m a super patient person. Everyone had already ate by the time I received my food. My only comfort here was that I probably made the server’s day.
