Great dining experience! Food was delicious or as it says in the restaurant, "tasty as cluck" and had some nice beverage choices. All staff seemed incredibly friendly. The atmosphere is really great - interesting decor and good music. They have good separation of tables for safety due to COVID. Would definitely come back if we're in Port Carling again.
There were empty tables, yet we were told we needed to wait 20 min to be seated. We then wanted to order take out at the window, the girls said she had stuff to do and slammed the window shut in our face twice during the 10 minutes we were trying to place an order. Finally we sat down because miraculously a table became available right there and then and ordere what can only be described as the most expensive sandwiches in the universe. I mean $19 for just a sandwich. Even if it was the best in the world as per the server's statement and it definitely was NOT it's still a chicken sandwich. The server girl was the rudest I've ever been treated at a restaurant; zero interest, zero genuine politeness, a fake smile and an attitude to go with it all.
Dropped in on my way to the cottage. Was greeted immediately by a server with a big smile asking how he can help. Order a chicken burger with fries to go. While I was waiting was asked by two other servers if I had been looked after. The manger stopped by to say hi to make sure I was well looked after. Would definitely go back. Oh yeah and my chicken burger and fries were amazing.
Decided to try this restaurant out as it was highly recommended by a few people. Had such a horrible experience that it doesn’t even matter that the food was good. We ordered our food and asked for the wait time because we had to be somewhere at a certain time. They said 20min we said ok that’s fine and placed our order. Now I understand things happen and get backed up. But I absolutely do not understand why our food in total took 55min and we saw at least 4 people/groups come in after us get their food before us and order the same things we did. That’s just ridiculous and when we asked we were just told they were waiting on fries and they were in a rush. One man came after us and ordered a burger and fries same as us and the waitress thought instead of calling him through the window that we wouldn’t notice if she went around and we called her out when she came out through the back and handed him his food and all she said was “I know” We told her to just give us a refund and then she started packing up our order. Seriously!!! this is after at least 4 ordered and got their food after us. Now I know we don’t fit the Muskoka look we are 100% latinos and look like it and everyone served before us was obviously white Canadian but that is straight racism! We missed our event and were discriminated like never before based on the color of our skin. DO BETTER, EVERYONE REGARDLESS OF SKIN COLOR DESERVES TO BE TREATED WITH RESPECT AND OFFERED GOOD SERVICE!!!!
Absolutely amazing experience. Everything about this place was perfect for us. The jalepeno burgers were 100 times better than Webers on HWY 11. It may have been the best burger I have had in my life. Next time we are there I dont know if I will be able to decide between the chicken sandiwch or the beef burger... great job staff and owners!
We enjoyed coop tonight as a family of four! We had fabulous service. A little mistake with the meal but the issue was resolved right away from the server and then the manager. The manager sat with us and chatted us up. He explained about the mistake and took care of it. The manager and server this evening were top notch! Will visit this location again next summer. We love port carling.
Food was okay. Tiny portion for cost. Nothing comes with fries. The severs really didn’t want to be bothered with anyone at the take-out window. I should have just reached in to grab my bag rather than wait ten minutes for someone to come help the growing line of customers. I look forward to seeing which new restaurant is here next year.
The food, blacked chicken salad , poutine all amazingly delicious. The staff, Steve, Adam and the two lovely servers and they awesome cook who wrote kind words on our extra take was a super nice touch. Will definitely be back soon! Thank you all Laurie & Ray
Excellent service, wicked hot Nashville Poutine and nice large servings. We will be back! Loved the 1990's videos and music.
Disappointing. Food was great but overpriced. Service was horrible. Waited awkwardly at the front door and wasn’t even greeted by staff. Was finally seated, 20 minutes went by before my husband had to go inside to get someone. Then another 5-10 minutes later a server finally came out. Was not busy at all. Bathroom was also disgusting. Will not be back.
