Excellent food, warm welcome when you come in and the vibe is through the roof. Really fun place for dinner and my kids always like it. Small menu but they do all the items well. Love the boxing posters all over the walls, same as Sugo next door.
I was going to eat here before Dave Portnoy reviewed this place. After giving them an 8.2, I had high expectations. Its a big pie for $35. Its like a gourmet Italian pizza. We got the Vinny Massimo pizza. It was good but thought they could use better pepperoni and add a little more sauce Overall 7.5/10
Tried the Gigi, slightly burnt but still fine. Best red sauce in town easily. The more I ate the better it got. Good amount of spice as well. Also the tiramisu was fantastic but not so much for the tiramisu donut.
The YouTube pizza guy wasn’t joking - this spot is incredible. Was difficult just choosing one pizza, glancing at the other tables you’re always tempted to change your initial selection. The pasta is just as good as next door - between 3 of us a pasta and pizza we’re just right to share. Will 1000% be back to sample the zucchini pizza. Service was also super friendly. Our recommendation is to come on a weeknight to avoid the wait times of a more busy evening.
A must visit place if you are craving for pizza. They serve 16” pies that are baked in a wood fire oven right in front of you. There’s a wide selection of pizzas available. The vibe of this place is amazing and the servers are very friendly. There’s road side car parking available nearby. Give this place a try and you won’t be disappointed!
Pizza is super big and very delicious. I would easily give them 5/5. + The portion is huge and one pizza easily serves two people. $35 flat rate for all pizzas we ordered Bitondo with artichokes and bacon plus Vinny Massimo with pepperoni, mushroom, onion, and basil. We asked not to add jalapeno. Both were great. My friends liked the latter, but I prefered the former. + The pasta was also delicious. Nice rose sauce on top of Canestri, chives, and padano. $19 - They need 25 mins to prepare it. It might seem like a long wait time but you will get a high-quality pizza at the end. - They charge you for their dip 2.5$ extra. I would rather see one dip included. We had Basil pesto and garlic, and to me basil was the best. Definitely come back here.
Soo good! We had dinner here on Friday night and although the wait was a little longer than expected it was all worth it when the pizzas hit the table. They were superb! We had Little Italy and Vinny Massimo both were amazing. The pasta was fantastic and the mozz sticks as well. We also had the burrata which was OK compared to the rest of the items. The sauce on the pizzas was just another level, amazing. The tiramisu was good too, 7/10. I may just be spoilt for tiramisu though, it's worth trying here. The cocktails were also good! The vibe is great once you're inside and the staff are super nice too. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a good pizza in town. Just beware that the place doesn't do reservations so make sure to put your name down as soon as possible esp on Friday/weekends. Rest assured it's worth the wait.
Conzo's is the sister-restaurant to sugo next door, and is in a much larger space. They even take reservations. however, their resos fill up quick, so be sure to call at least a few days in advance. We ended up not being able to get a reso for Saturday around 6:30pm, so we showed up in-person to get on the waitlist. The host said the wait could be up to 2 hours as they were still waiting on resos. We decided to wait bc there were only a few tables ahead of us and we banked on the fact that some resos would be no-shows. Luckily, that's exactly what happened and we got a table after waiting 30-45 min. They should probably rethink their reservation policy, or not take reso's at all like sugo. Interesting thing is that the pizza's take ~25-30 min from start to finish which causes the backlog. But the pizza is very good, and definitely holds its own against top NYC pizza joints. Crust has a good thickness to it and the toppings are loaded on. We got the Manlia and the special for the day, clam pizza w a white sauce. both were very good but anything with pepperoni and jalepenos is my favourite. also ordered mozza sticks and meatballs, would probably skip next time, these were ok - the tomato sauce for both were the stars. Like Sugo, service is impeccable, frinedly and fast! they want to turnover the tables asap so they are always on the ball.
Amazing food and service. I loved Conzo’s Pizza’s authentic vibe and setting. The service provided by the staff was amazing, and all the food we ordered were top notch. We ordered Aperol Spritz, Burrata, Foccacia, and Little Italy pizza. The staff also gave us pesto and other sauce on the house! You can also watch them make the pizza which was another plus :
I had heard a ton of great things about this place so decided on take out. Pizza was very good however, not spectacular. A bit too much black charging on the pie for my liking. I believe part of my experience was tainted because it is so difficult to find parking or to even stop temporarily. I much prefer Badiali or Descendant Pizza. The restaurant looks like a real cool place to have dinner and if you’re local, it’s a great neighborhood spot. That said, I don’t recommend take out of you live as far as I do. Return trip insolent over an hour in the car so I think my expectation were a bit too high. My wife thought the pizza was excellent. Parking: Parking is extremely difficult to find.
