Decided to stop in here instead of Tim's. I often prefer supporting the private businesses when I can. Well worth the 10 minute wait! Great cheeseburger! I don't go through Russell very often but I will be back for more when opportunity presents itself. Highly recommended
I don’t like to review bad places anymore but I felt had to for this place. Apparently Connie’s Drive in has two ordering windows. Both are for ordering hot food or ice cream. Felt a bit foolish standing at the first window for 15mins after the girl in glasses said she needed to take care of some orders and closed the window on me. Now I’m not a local so maybe this some type of new customer hazing. Also they made sure to add bacon which extra $$ when I ask for not bacon. There is a wait as you can see from the picture, so the food must be good but if the business is only looking for a certain type of customer I’m gonna have give this place a hard pass can’t recommend it to people.
Stopped in while on a motorcycle trip. Awesome food and the gent that runs it is funny as was full on one liners. If your in the area stop in and enjoy some great classic food!
On this trip out to Connie's we ordered ahead during their busiest time of the day! They gave us a super managable wait time. The food was delicious and the service was awesome! Great things are worth the wait!!! Would recommend to anyone!!
We ate at Connie’s drive inn this past Friday Evening. Saw all the good reviews about it so thought “why not”. We loved it. Great burgersx 2 and battered mushrooms x 2 and 2 canned drinks. Price was very reasonable $36. Compared to the drive inn we are use to this was cheap and way bigger portions. Very impressed. Good service too. It was fairly busy when we were there, about 4 other families waiting at the same time. Took only about 10 minutes for the order to be ready. I have to mention the washrooms were also very clean. Nice to see. I have seen “drive inn” washrooms that were scary.
For over 20 years we randomly stopped in on Connie's during our road trips to Brandon down Highway 83. It is so worth the stop for this deep-fried battered goodness! Seriously we can't get enough of their deep fried dill pickles and deep fried mushrooms and their poutine is to die for! We absolutely love this place and we loved it so much that we even dined and dashed about 18 years ago by accident. Sorry Connie!
Best burger I've had in a while! The flavour was succulent! I wish there was one local to me!Food: 5/5
