We stumbled upon Confederation Park by sheer luck and it took our breath away. The park is by the river and had ample space for parking and has a lot of picnic tables dotted around. The views are breathtaking. It perfectly located an hour's drive from Motreal. Definitely worth a visit.
Stopped here to make our pressed coffee and have a snack before we headed home from Montebello. Beautiful information building and they some food inside as well. We didn't check it out, maybe next time. Would highly recommend it to stop here. Walk along the water and look over the hills in Quebec, it is just lovely here.
Scenic location, but not much to do here. Could be so much better if the municipality took an interest in showcasing this park. So much unrealized potential. The park would be greatly improved with the addition of a marina, boardwalk along the river, and some play structures for the kids. Unfortunately these things are currently lacking. That being said, it's a decent spot if you are looking for a quiet place to take in a sunset.
I really enjoy crossing this bridge between Ontario and Quebec. The twin neighbouring towns of Grenville and Hawkesbury are scenic. This little park is very pleasant with really nice views.
Came here by chance and I don’t regret it at all! Love how there’s a park on the island and plenty of interesting public art.nThere’s free parking and a cafe, so it’s worth visiting.nDidn’t stay here for too long and I could imagine it being boring if you stay here for hours, but it’s a nice short visit if you happen to be in the area.
