Such a nice library with such good hoursnOpen until 8:30nThere's a cafe insidenBest part is for kids there's a lot of toys to play with! My son had such a good time playing in the kitchen and with the cars!nComing from Montreal, I was impressed with the high quality toys in this library!
One of the most beautiful libraries I have ever seen. Super clean and organized.nIt also has a cafeteria inside.nThe decor is amazing.nIt would be a delight to sit and read in this library. Makes learning more fun. Recommend for all.
Visited Charlottetown from Vancouver and unfortunately had a disappointing experience at this library. The guess services staff a young woman in her mid-20s with long brown hair was unnecessarily rude and condescending when I asked for assistance with a book. When I escalated the concern to the manager short haired, I was told that the employee was “just having a bad day.” She was nice to the blonde girl our age after me! Sorry I wasn’t caucasian!?nnWhile I understand that everyone has off days, customer service should always reflect professionalism and kindness. This experience genuinely dampened my trip to Charlottetown. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and prioritizes hiring and training staff who embody courtesy and respect toward visitors.
I really enjoy this library. It’s welcoming and has a nice atmosphere. However, the quiet zone isn’t truly quiet because of the noise coming from the gaming zone and children’s areas. It would be much better if these spaces were covered or separated to reduce the loud noise, as a library is meant to be a place where people can work and read in peace.
Highly recommend the library! An ideal place to study and borrow books, instruments and bring kids here to join different events. Also, there are some meeting room open to book in advance.
