Good shopping and a few places still open to eat. Bridge is the fastest way on and off PEI. Plan for an extra hour of travel coming off island as the NB Covid-19 check point bottle necks traffic. Suggest having Covid-19 provincial entry paperwork completed before hand.
Yes we sat in line up but it really doesn't matter a very small price to pay for the opportunity to visit family. The staff were very happy and friendly and things moved a long fairly quick.
If you're in Atlantic Canada, it's a must! Unless of course Covid restrictions prevent you from doing so.
One... There should no longer be almost $50 needed to cross. Second... Expect significant delays now due to covid. Cars are stopped and passengers questioned. We fill out forms to go to pei and then more to leave. The provincial governments need to communicate and share info.

Great stop to visit and walk around without actually crossing the bridge : there’s a lighthouse you can walk to and take pictures of and it’s a great spot to stop for a pee and stretch your legs! Haha it’s about 30 minutes from the Amherst Big Stop. Usually pretty windy on the beach, so bring a sweater in case!
pricey, but it beats the alternate way of getting there. PEI is a beautiful island
It's a great bridge. Kept me above the water the entire crossing. No trolls under it either.
