I’ll be honest, I don’t even really like poutines. I wasn’t overly looking forward to coming here but I had to give it a shot because of all the hype. I LOVED it!! So many choices almost too many, makes it very hard to pick and such a great value; there is SO much food, no one at our table could even finish their meals, seriously Mmm, leftovers. Everything was delicious, even the burgers. I can’t wait to go back. P.S. Coney Island rekindled my love for milkshakes.
Delicious food and a crazy good selection of poutines. This place won’t disappoint to fill you up and keep you eating even though you don’t want to. Gravy is very tasty and good consistency. Fries cooked well and taste good too. Chilli was delicious and didn’t taste bland. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice greasy snack
Awesome service every time!! Call for a pickup order in 10-15min Sit inside with your order and get the awesome service you’ll ever receive
Great food, honestly awesome hotdogs. But the poutine at home frozen mix comes with burnt shriveled fries and it’s gross. The last one I bought, thinking it must be a mistake, had 9, NINE pieces of popcorn shrimp and just the worst, obviously cooked in twelve day old grease, fries. Buy it fresh it’s awesome but steal clear of the home packages
The food is on the pricier side, but everything I’ve tried here has been delicious. The poutines are great. The deep fried dill pickles are a hit. A piece of advice, if you get the large milkshake and want to freeze what you didn’t finish, take the paper straw out. Otherwise it’ll break off inside the shake. The only milkshake that my group had that wasn’t the best was a kiwi one.
It was ok but I didn’t expect there to be gravy on the special poutines. I got the mozzarella stick poutine. The description said it came with Italian sauce, but it also had gravy which I didn’t know about. Those sauces don’t taste good together. It’s a cool place but not for me.
We went to Coney Island tonight to grab some supper. They mixed up our order and caught us outside as we were leaving, totally fine if there was not a list of disappointments to follow. My boyfriend ordered a chili burger with bacon. He received a burger with cheese and raw onion on it and nothing else. This alone was upsetting as I loved this place and it has been a few years since visiting, and I guess the quality has decreased. It was pretty embarrassing to have talked it up so much. Additionally, there is a charge on his receipt for 5$ Mac'n'Cheese. Which he did not order. When he called, he was told that the likelyhood of being compensated for this was low. Seeing as he paid 35$ for a burger and a mini poutine with a milkshake of course. It was upsetting to receive such a response. Eating out is a special treat for us and I am very sorry that we wasted it on this place. Attached are the pictures of his burger and the receipt. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly.
This place is awesome! They grind sirloin steaks to make their burger patties and you can taste the astounding quality and texture. They have a huge selection of delicious burgers, hotdogs, poutines, milkshakes, and more. I will definitely will be going back next time I'm in that part of town for lunch.
Decent prices and big portion sizes. Lots of menu items to choose from. Sad to say that the fries in our poutines were over saturated with grease and tasted old as well. The toppings on the poutines were good though Perogie poutine and pulled pork poutine. Won’t be going back because of the fries. The dude at the register was really nice though.
Ordered 2 mini poutines and an ice cream. Waited over 40 minutes for our poutines. Multiple of Ppl who ordered behind us were receiving their food Finally went up and said something, said they lost our order then waited another 10 minutes to finally get it. Should not take 50 minutes for 2 small poutines.
