Beware of Administrative Issues with Online Continuing EducationnnI enrolled in a CompTIA prep course through ed2go via Conestoga College, paying $197. Just two weeks in, my Conestoga account was suddenly disabled—no email, no warning. When I regained access, my ed2go course was gone.nnAfter contacting both Conestoga and ed2go support, I managed to get my college account reactivated, and the course reappeared on my ed2go dashboard. However, I couldn’t access it without verifying payment—even though I had clearly paid.nnThen came the biggest surprise: ed2go support told me they had “processed my withdrawal.” I never requested a withdrawal, and there was no communication or explanation as to why it happened. To make matters worse, they charged me a $25 withdrawal fee.nnTheir response? I could re-register for the next intake starting August 13. So essentially, I paid $197, lost access due to an error, was charged an extra $25, and offered the chance to pay again for the same course.nnThis experience was frustrating and unnecessarily stressful. I share this as a warning—if you're considering asynchronous online learning through third-party providers like ed2go and partner colleges, be aware of potential account and communication issues. Make sure to document everything and be prepared for administrative runarounds.
Do nit choose this collage, I said do not. when I took admission in one of the course they collage will be helpful in giving the compulsory co-op required to complete your graduation. Now they said we only have 20 seats available and I don’t even know if thats true. Its been 1.5 month am looking for a co-op but bruh whos gonna give you a entry level position directly in a hospital without any Canadian experience. And now what they said, either find a co-op or have to take 5th semester for that. I means thats not what I was expecting from collage. And the positions we are shown is in BRAMPTON, toronto Or even far. Bruh we live in brantford we choose this campus help us to get a nearby co-op.nnI hope any official see my comment and work on it. Course - health office administration
The college doesn’t support you as an international student. They spread the classes in maximum days so that you can’t get hired. Plus they give massive number of assignments which are also tough. They will eat up your maximum time. 4 days class, 2 days worth of assignments. So you are left with one day to do you groceries, have some rest and work part-time to pay the bills.
I took my CELPIP Examination here and it was a very good location to do it. Staff were very helpful and all instructions were very clear. Recommended for anyone taking the CELPIP examination
Please don’t select this college they don’t support students. on my last semester there was one batch and the classes were In person With schedule at 7 PM to 9 PM. In that class there were some female students who was requesting the management to change the Timings to the morning which was available in another campus but the management declined and said if you want morning class selected from next semester. That’s how managementSupport the student. Please don’t select this college as professors are part-time professors and they don’t have knowledge and they don’t support students
