So very pleasantly surprised! We were invited to a private party held at Concordia Club back in December 2020. I did not give it too much thoughts when I arrived as the building was very dated. They had a little private room for gatherings and we only had one staff to tend to a party of 50. The service was a bit slow but friendly. We were very impressed with the beer selection! Then came the food…. All dishes were served hot, fresh and appetizing! The portion was generous. Even kiddie menu’s chicken fingers looked finger licking good. We live a bit far away but if we are back in the area, we will certainly Return!
Ossified German style restaurant. Probably hasn't changed much in decades... But that's a good thing. If you grew up eating German food like I did, this place will take you back! I had the Jager Schnitzel hunter style, which means mushroom gravy with red cabbage and a glass of excellent German wine. Prices are reasonable and the service was personable. Recommended, if that's what you want.
We had a great Octoberfest experience! First time visiting, nice hall with cozy basement. We spent most our time down there and had great food. We ventured out to the tent and it was a huge party. Well set up and staffed. Can’t wait to go back again next year!
We decided to go to the Concordia club for dinner instead of driving to Hamilton to the Black Forest inn. We were very happy with our choice as the food was excellent the service was great and it was so nice to see some patrons dancing the night away having a good time. We decided to go back for Christmas dinner and had the half duck. It was delicious and a good size.
My wife and myself were very much looking forward to this meal as it has been 40 years since in lived in Germany, but have to say we were very disappointed in the serve and meal, I had the Jager Schnitzel and the spätzle was soggy and over cooked and the gravy on the schnitzel was tasteless, my wife had the sauerbraten and ate only a few bites again the spätzle was terrible and sauerbraten was tough and didn't even taste like sauerbraten , we will never return worst German meal we have ever had. the server taking our almost full plates from the table never even asked how the meal was. you would think when clearing the table with plates this full you would ask something but No just brought a bill for $80.00
Was not bad but service was really slow. Had to go looking for staff to place dessert or and to get Bill. There were multiple large parties including ours but the still they just seemed under staffed for a Saturday night. Food was good but some plates came out cool. It is worth it for some German food and atmosphere if it's something you never seen much of. Order dessert. If you don't you will regret it. So good and a great size for price Kid-friendliness: They do have a kids menu and it includes dessert at the end. The size of dessert maybe big for kids under 4 Parking: Lots of parking

The food is amazing. The sausage is tasty. The gravy and noodles are delicious! The decor is really cute and old German style and the service fantastic. It’s the ultimate comfort food. You will die fat and happy here.
The authentic taste and character of Germany is shared here. It's especially nice to enjoy a wide variety of German food such as schnitzel, cabbage rolls, sausages and even pork hocks and pigtails! The outdoor patio is large beautiful for weddings/special occasions. During the Christmas season the Schenke restaurant radiates with poinsettia and decorations.
First time here but will be back. Went for a celebration of life but the authentic German food was top notch. 6+ German beers on tap in the matching glassware. The walls are steeped in history can’t fake the decades of charm to the place. Even if you aren’t German, this is a place to check out.
