Cyrille et Véronique, les anciens du restaurant "Au P'tit Lyonnais", sur le Plateau (de 1999 à 2002...) sont heureux de vous accueillir dans leur tout nouveau restaurant...
Comptoir Lyonnais est un restaurant chaleureux et convivial où l'on y mange une cuisine bistro revisitée. La carte est courte, composée principalement de spécialités lyonnaise, mais chaque jour, on y propose de trois à quatre plats du jour, préparé en fonction du marché.
Comptoir Lyonnais, c'est aussi un comptoir gourmand proposant des plats préparés sur place et prêt-à-manger, en bocaux en verre, à réchauffer à la maison où au bureau !
Les bocaux sont pasteurisés et se conservent 15 jours au réfrigérateur. N'hésitez pas à consulter la liste de bocaux disponibles sur la page !

Pretty surprised by this little restaurant. Everything was perfect for a good lunch time, from the food to the service. Food was well presented, fish with vegetables and risotto was very good, with a passion fruit sauce, and the hot bread was home made. Service is professional yet warm and friendly. They were able to easily accomodate me as I had a short time to eat. Don't hesitate to stop by if you're around!
My girlfriend and I had special group offer tickets for that restaurant. Having been to Lyon in a typical "bouchon lyonnais", I was wondering if they served the traditional "quenelle" that you find in those types of restaurants in Lyon. And they do! The service was excellent. The lady that served us was very nice and super attentive. The restaurant reminds me of old French restaurants. The decor is very nice and very cozy and warm. Their menu is amazing. Of course I picked the quenelle since it's so hard to find. The table d'hôte came with some amuse gueules that consisted of bites of crêpe soufflée, with a rillette and a spoonful of diced marinated veggies, lettuce and mackarel. It was very yummy! For the apetizer, we had a small salad with the real typical salad dressing they serve in France, made of olive oil and dijon mustard with vegetable ravioles made of pickeled beets and other root veggies with goat and blue cheese. And for the entrée, obviously, I had the quenelle made from pike with veggies and a homemade potato croquette. The meal was absolutely delicious. They also have a 5 à 7 special where you can just drop in, sit at the bar, have a sip of their private imported wine while eating a plate of various cheeses or other bites. I highly recommend this restaurant to anybody who wants to experience a typical meal from Lyon without having to travel across the Atlantic. I was charmed and will definitely go back with my family and friends.
Such a nice little spot. Came hear with a crew from work and had a salmon dish to die for. Place puts a lot of effort into little touches to make the experience authentic and the food feel special. Highly recommended.
Great restaurant! Its a bit on the pricey side but it's delicious really. The terasse on the back of the restaurant is pleasant quiet and intimate. The personnel was nice and friendly. I strongly recommend it!
Do not go there if you're really hungry or in a rush. Don't even think about ordering their "Burger de saucisse lyonnais" or their "velouté de courgettes". I believe those are 2 worst items in their menu. Otherwise, the terrace in the back is quite nice. Don't think I'll ever go back there on purpose but who knows ...
I left Lyon 30 years ago and what I was served at Le Comptoir was like a trip home to my Grandma's kitchen. The quenelles de brochet were amazing.

The food is incredible to eat and in presentation, reasonably priced, and the service is lovely.
Tired and lazy at best. Dine in the 80s with unremarkable dishes and average pretty much everything.
