Dr O'Neil was patient and extremely thorough. Everyone was very pleasant and upbeat, and appeared to enjoy their jobs. It was a pleasant, satisfying experience, I'm glad I chose Community Eye Care Associates!
Honestly if you want to feel like cattle being processed in a meat processing plant. Than come on down. They schedule wayzo many patients at a time and your left feeling rushed through like a piece of meat.
The most uncoordinated and unprofessional eye care I have ever received. They did not have contact trials for a normal prescription range to start. The trials were ordered and never received. Was then told that they would be shipped from the Jamestown office in 5 days. Never received any communication on them arriving in olean nearly 10 days later. Stopped in the Olean office assuming they must have been there and just no call confirming. Go figure they were never bright sent. Going on a month of no trials with a new prescription and now told they will be here by the end of the week. Completely unacceptable to me that they don’t even have the trials for a normal prescription range in stock. Do not waste your time or money going here. Whoever is running these offices needs terminated and replaced before you lose all of your customers
If I could give this eye care facility less than a ONE, I would. I went there this past summer August 13 to get new glasses and a new prescription because my old glasses were 10 years old and causing me problems. I received my glasses about 10 days later, wore them for about 2 days but could not see out of them. The progressive line was in the wrong place . They fixed that, got glasses back in about 10 days again only to find out I still could not see out of them. After having my eyes rechecked, find out my original prescription was wrong . So as not to have to PAY again to have my glasses corrected, Amanda suggested I have my sunglasses changed to the new prescription. To make a long story shorter, 6 weeks later none of the glasses are any good for me to see out of them. After paying over $1,000, I have two pair of glasses I cannot use. They blamed ME! I have been wearing glasses for 40+ years I know how to identify which number 1,2, or 3 is better. I went to another eye care facility in Jamestown, had my eyes retested and had them compare their recommended prescription to Community and SURPRISE, it was not the same. I can now see out of my glasses and the lenses are a much better quality than at Community. DON'T GO THERE!
I only gave them one star because this system made me. I received horrible, unprofessional service from everyone I encountered here. They can't keep help there, so there are different employees every time you go...and they must not have a very good training program for new employees. When I walked in the door, the receptionist told me I owed them 27.00 I did not, and had not been there in 2 years. They couldn't tell me what the 27.00 might be for and finally decided it was a "mistake"! The girl in the optical department never even measured my eyes for bifocals. She kept complaining that she quit drinking coffee and was suffer withdrawal symptoms. A week after I ordered my glasses, they told me that I can't have the pair I picked out, so I said I would go elsewhere. Now they giving me the run-around about returning my money. I should have never had to pay a penny as my Vision plan completely covers glasses and lens. I will be filing a complaint in Small Claims Court, at the State Attorney Generals Office, with my Insurance Company and with the Better Business Bureau. I would not recommend this place of business to my worst enemy.
I am disabled and in a wheelchair and ,they treated me EXCELLENT I went here yesterday because my left eye for the last month has been blurry . They were VERY acknowledgeable and explained everything to me . Very caring people . I waited maybe 10 minutes tops to be seen. I would definitely refer my family and friends to them . You can get any better treatment then what they showed me including the receptionists .EVERYTHING was very clean and there was disinfectant wipes in every room I went into . Love this place. Thank you so much Community eye care for your excellent service you have me.
I’ve been trying to order contacts since last summer…very poor customer service. With the outrageous amounts they charge, I would expect them to be fast with all their patients and their orders. 1 start is far too much for them as they deserve a zero. I won’t be returning .
I took my mom here. But I have been here. I myself go to the one in Dunkirk by the same eye doctor. I like going to them cause they care for your eyes. They are kind an caring.
I've waited 2 months for my glasses to be correct. First they lost my frames then they got the wrong size lenses for my new frames. Then they did not put the order through to the lab properly for my transition lenses i had ordered and paid for after telling me it would only be a 2 week wait for them. I would not recommend anyone going here unless they absolutely need to.
Fixed a problem on the first appointment I've had for 20 years. So effective. Regular follow up to keep me "fixed".Thank you Dr Froebel.
